Swimace Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 I would say New Zealand, and then I'd just have to travel to Japan and Australia for coasters a lot.
Blazen_AZN Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 funny, i was just talking to somebody about this earlier today! I said Japan, the place is amazing! Everybody was so nice, the place was modern, clean, and safe. If it wasn't for the earthquakes and North Korea being across the way, it would be perfect! But I don't think i would trust myself with alcoholic beverages in vending machines...
SuperGreek1562 Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 I would move to Greece. The main reason because half of my family still lives there. If I had no family there I would want to move to Australia. I've always wanted to go there and say "G'day mate!" haha!
USRoadTripper Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 I'd pick Canada hands down, more specifically Toronto...pretty country, good health care, same basic freedoms as the US, some nice parks, a fantastic selection of candy bars, Swiss Chalet, and very few cultural differences (except for milk coming bags!). -Julie
AznShortBoi8021 Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Yo quiero viver en Espana. Mi espanol es malo, pero Espana is muy bonita.
rollermonkey Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Having visited 41 countries and lived in Japan, Bahrain and Italy while in the US Navy, I'd say that I would choose in descending order of desirability: 1. Australia 2. Canada 3. USA 4. Japan 5. Italy Language really is a huge factor when making a selection like this, and yeah, I think I'd rather live in the great, white north than the ol' US of A.
rollermonkey Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 ^ But you live in Buffalo! Canada's hardly a foreign country to you!
pagemaster_b Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 I've never been outside the country, not even to Canada. That's going to change here shortly when I get to visit the lovely country of Afghanistan. I hope we get a lay over in Germany!
Nrthwnd Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 The French countryside... Close to Disneyland Paris (I do like some themeing with my parks), and train access to the rest of Europe and all it's parks. True original French food is amazing. And the wine. And the cheese. And bread. Yum.
Millenniumguy Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Yo quiero viver en Espana. Mi espanol es malo, pero Espana is muy bonita. Spain is really a beautiful country. Not to be picky but the the correct form is vivo.(I have a test on that Tuesday ). Personally, nearby Andorra, if there was no language barrier.
TwistedTrack Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 hmmmmmm........... Probably England or Australia. More likely England.
Carnage Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 At this point USA is really the only choice for me. Moving overseas really doesn't interest me at the moment. Then again if I had the chance to live in New Zealand/Australia I would hvae to really think about it.
DragonKhan Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 I bet you can taste the legalized pot already. *looking at your age* Man, you have some serious issues... Besides, it isn't really legalized here, it's just tolerated... To stay on topic: I don't really have a top choice. I know Switzerland, Germany and the USA the best. They all have good and bad sides and I could see myself ending up in any of them or maybe somewehere completely else. France... Spain... Australia... who knows, I'm very open minded...
coasterguy618 Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Italy. I guess cause i am a F.B.I. Aside from the part that i was born in America, of course.
Tömmioh Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 There are quite many countries where I would like to live: Sweden, Denmark, Germany, England, Holland/The Netherlands, Belgium. I've been to all of them, they are nice countries with friendly people. The language wouldn't be a problem, except for Dutch which is a bit difficult. One of the 'problems' with living in Finland, is that it's a bit 'isolated' from the rest of Europe.
ktglads Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 I would probably go with South Africa. The countryside is beautiful. I would have to go back to the Northern province, although it is quite a few hours from the theme parks, the relaxation would be worth it
coasters 4 me Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 I would like to live in Japan. I love all that Japanese architecture, food and culture. It really interests me. But I would also like to live in the Siesta Keys/Sarasota. I went there and it was gorgeous. I love the sunsets on the beach and all the tropical feel on the Siesta Keys.
