philthephorce
Mudflaps! Actually I don't know, but they look like something someone would stand on if the train were either stuck upside down and needed immediate attention, or maybe the trains at some point in their maintenance cycle would get flipped over intentionally and worked on while inverted. Chain Dawg
Fahrenheit does have a lot of rattle for a new coaster, but I love everything about this coaster...other than the rattle. The vertical lift freaks people out right from the start. And that section of track during the transition into the Norwegian loop looks like it could use a little more bracing. Its got a lot of movement. Many people in line are commenting about the track moving. The bunny hop at the end makes for a nice ending.
Ccron10
3 days to go until my trip and I can't wait to try Fahrenheit out for the first time. I really want to find out how it stacks up against the park's other coasters. Great pics Hanno! Hopefully mine will turn out as great as yours! andrea_loves_daisies
I think Fahrenheit was great. Had a great time with the ERT that day. I am usually impatient so I hate to wait but after riding, I will NEVER mind the wait. Great update Hanno, especially since you caught my side profile on your last picture. My pictures are on my site.

Hhappy
First of... sorry for the delay folks.. it's been very busy lately.. But there should always be some time to relax a little and "relive" some of the memories of an excellent TPR trip. Time for another update.. Day 10 Dorney Park owh yeah.. don't forget the coasters.. thanks for reading.. just because i like how this one turned out.. slowest line of the trip so far.. (for me) just did not come out the way i wanted.. not enough spooky effect.. this one was fun at night.. the station reminds me of another ride... (especially with the flags) but that might just be me.. playing around.. tower... after a short break at the hotel.. it was time to head back to the park.. more random, but still very happy, riders.. ehmm.. what happened?? why the long faces?? it was "interesting" to experience this element.. some random people having fun.. nice paintjob.. happy riders on Laser.. hangtime in the brakes.. another way to cool down a little.. swing... on top... reach out and touch... spot the "nerds"... there's still more to be seen... hmmm back inside the park.. passing another coaster.. was nice to get an explanation on this one.. and a small demonstration.. Barry M Deeper... hmm time for some different angles and other things to be seen.. the picture everybody has... don't have a clue on what's inside.. but it looked cool from the outside.. going up.. Do you see the "voodoo"?? Next stop.. Voodoo.. Happy riders... first stop of the day.. coasterwise that is.. just in case you forgot what this update is all about.. the best way to start a day? just a short walk to a park and ride some coasters... King of Ka
Wow, some of these pictures are just ridiculously good! My favorites are the first one of Talon at sunset, and the last pictures of Talon (it may not have come out how you'd hoped, but it's still a VERY cool and interesting angle) and White Water Landing. And was that one picture of Steel Force taken from the employee parking lot? How'd you get there?
Hhappy
it's always good to hear that people enjoy the pictures... But there's always an end to something good.. and yes.. in this case.. it';s the final day and therefore the final update for this trip. Hope everybody enjoyed the pictures. I had a blast during this trip and i do hope that the pictures show the amount of fun that is a TPR trip.... Anyway.. Day 11 Knoebels A famous name for me so i was really looking forward to this day... For me it did not disappoint at all that day.. I had a blast.. and if i would live closer to this place.. i would go back on a regular base.. the perfect ending to another amazing trip.. thanks everybody and hope to see you soon... i totally forgot to get pictures of Phoenix earlier that day.. and well.. this is what you get with less light... there's just so much to look at.. Using the other lens... i guess so... let's check this out and see if the view is any good.. a well.. sometimes i don't mind... somebody borrowed my camera?? again?? time to head out for that one special bonus behind the scenes amazing and very interesting tour... Thanks guys for the opportunity going down again.. and yes.. you should be able to see the "track" the trains follow... top of the lifthill.. waiting in line for that one unique picture on top of the ride... this ride is just amazing.. it's a shame that it ain't open yet.. but i will be back to ride it (at least) once.. ehm.. not everybody is paying attention i guess?? everybody get your camera out.. it's Flying Turns tour time.. now where's everybody heading to?? back on topic.. there was even a band during lunch time.. let's zoom in.. and see why.. one of my favorite pictures... why?? what's in a name? happy faces.. looked like fun.. just chilling during the train ride.. everywhere you look... there is things to be seen.. rare action shot.. here we go.. it's time for some joy.. self explaining i guess.. owh yes.. these were amazing.. especially after seeing some folks demonstrating how it's supposed to be done.. feeling lonely? owh yeah.. park map.. famous?? sorry, not my kind of ride.. kids... ok, time for the next stop.. Phoenix.. what can i say except.. wow.. wrong ride... picture says more then a thousand words... trying to capture the speed... just checking.. don't worry... Next train.. don't you just love the different expressions.. happy faces... time to check out Twister.. early morning.. we are almost there.. Knoebels.. yes we made it just a quick shot while walking towards our ERT coaster... is everybody awake and ready for another day of fun?
downunder
Nice photos Hanno, damn I want to be back at Knoebels, love that place. Phoenix was just mental, I hope you rode that one more than once.
downunder
I rode Phoenix at least 30 times, it's so hard to split El Toro, Phoenix and Dash for me, they were all such different experiences but all so awesome. Those bumper cars, wow, there's nothing quite like metal on metal collisions, and those GCI guys were totally smashing each other, it was like the Road Warrior with bumper cars. kenshinmac
That was an amazing day! It was so much fun in general. I didn't go on a single ride that wasn't insanely fun that day. Plus their hot waffle ice cream sandwich was soooo good. I'm still suffering from good Twister withdrawals too . So much fun... So many good memories... Thanks everyone it was a ton of fun spending time with you all.
Lenaapple1974
I am more amazed each PTR that I get to see! You had me from about 7:45 PM today. It is now 11:10 PM!!!! This is what I get for catching the report late, huh? I really didn't take any breaks either. There were so many things I wanted to comment on but I will definitely not remember due to the twenty pages and time it took for me to get through it. The pictures were ALL amazing! I especially loved the onride photos on the Hypers! I truly wish that I could get that close to Nitro...but that coaster is pretty out of touch. El Toro is sorta blocked also. You did manage some great shots though! I started to take pics like that since my first pic of my family that I took on the HULK in 2004. The faces were priceless! Since then I always try to capture friends and family on rides. You have given me new perspective with the drive to want to do more! Even if it is people I do not know. You rock! I also take lots and lots of pics when I am out and about. What kind of camera and lens sizes were you using? You made me feel as if I was right there on the trip with everyone. I definitely wish I really was... Maybe one day. OR for a day trip if you all are ever back in my neck of the woods. (NY/NJ) Hanno, thank you so much for taking your time to post everything! I look forward to your next PTR... now only if I can catch it as you are posting it!
