CorkscrewFoley
^ At least they're trying. If it doesn't work out, they don't build another one.
Nosferatu
it may be a bold statement but what if vekoma never made the lie-down (flying dutchman) concept. Would B&M made their flying concept? I completely agree! Vekoma had a great idea and B&M took it and made it even better. Props to both but it seems Vekoma had the idea 1st. The whole kneeling innovation looks pretty unique too. I doubt that. john Vardley and B&M was working on the flying concept for more than five years. They where working on Air even before Oblivion was built. So I think it was more of a case of Vekoma hearing about it, and beating them to it.
CorkscrewFoley
It's a shame Vekoma had so many issues with their flying dutchman. I thoroughly enjoyed Firehawk, and loved the 5gs in the loop in the back.

Loefet
I'm still not getting this "suspended kneeling tilted coaster" thing. According to the picture that were posted I would guess on something like: Something like this...
Gav
^Haha, it reminds me of that Japanese horse riding arcade game...Final Furlong I think it's called?
PKI Jizzman
I'm still not getting this "suspended kneeling tilted coaster" thing. According to the picture that were posted I would guess on something like: Hmm... I didn't think Intamin's Moto Coaster was comfortable, and the Zamperla Disko's aren't much better. I guess I'd have to try this out to really find out how it would be. But that's assuming that's how you're seated.

Agreed, the Idea of Air was originally discussed just after Nemesis opened way way back in 1994!! (This has been confirmed by John Wardley himself) So the way I see it is that Vekoma may have overtaken B&M with the development however B&M got it right! ntweisen
Interesting concept. I'd try it at least once.
