I really like the level of detail you are putting into what you have done so far, I hope that this amount of detail continues throughout the park. Keep up the great work, I cant wait to see more.

Update

Pre-Opening

Hello again! Construction is happening at a fast rate here so I have a big update for you.

Tonight I got a tour of another new restuarant: Orleans Aquarium.

As you enter Orleans Aquarium you'll see this huge wall.

If you look to the right you'll see the seating area.

This place will have a high capacity when it opens.

Here is the entrance to the actual walk-through aquarium. I'm told it will be for paying customers only.

Shark!

Check back soon for more!

Update

Pre-Opening

Hello again! I have more pictures from my exclusive tour of Orleans Aquarium!

Here's a view of the exterior during the day.

More seating inside.

The giant turtle is my favorite part of the actual restaurant.

Even more seating areas!

A new information kiosk has also opened at the base of the coaster's massive structure.

It looks like a place where you'll be able to purchase odds and ends for your day at the boardwalk.

Lots of progress! Check back soon for more updates.

Year 1 Announcement

BARRACUDA TO SWIM INTO BOARDWALK NEXT YEAR

NEW ORLEANS - The entertainment district under construction on the banks of Lake Pontchartrain will be adding thrills to the list of things to do when it opens next year. Barracuda will be the biggest and baddest wooden coaster on the gulf coast. Standing at a height of 90 feet, Barracuda will plunge 85 feet reaching speeds of 55 mph before speeding through twists and turns. The wooden roller coaster is a product of The Gravity Group, who were also behind Boardwalk Bullet, Orleans Place Boardwalk's sister boardwalk, Kemah Boardwalk. The ride has been a huge success and owners are hoping it will do the same here.

"New Orleans needs another scream machine. This is the perfect match," said a park representative on Thursday during a press conference.

Orleans Place Boardwalk will incorporate hotels, dining, shopping, shows, and other attractions into one of New Orleans' largest entertainment districts.

The ride's queue building is in front of the station.

Check out those sleek trains!

Early testing has already begun. Sometimes these coasters can need modifying before they can open.

I'll have more of the ride on the next update. Check back soon for more.
