Hello Fantastic Friends!!!

After a long bout with technical difficulties trying to upload the first edition of The Big Mike Road Show, we just about have it

Big Mike insisted that everything be put into the 1st show, and being that it was packed with total awesomeness, it overloaded You Tube and it also overloaded Coaster Tube!!!

It's massive, it's full of excitement, it's the creme of the crop here on TPR, it's the first edition of The Big Mike Road Show!!!!

Thanks to Jon Roost and Robb Alvey for hours upon hours of tweaking and reloading, editing and fine tuning, and never giving up until we finally figured out how to load this massive, over the top sensational show into the thread for all of TPR to enjoy!

We have seperated the whole show into four parts, so that you can view it at your own pace! Got hooked right from the start, watch the whole thing all in a row. Want to stop to eat and get back to it later? Now it's possible. Want to watch it every night before you go to bed so you can have dreams of The Big Man, watch one a night! It's user friendly now!!!!

I hope everyone enjoys all the hard work that went into it, and everyone can say that they love Good Ole Big Mike for all he does to keep the coaster enthusiasts entertained

Hope everyone enjoyed!!!

Please leave some comments so I can figure out what everyone thought and see if you can list your 3 favorite segments or anything else we can add for future decisions on what to air!

So what did you think of the new Big Mike Road Show??? Is it a keeper or not??

Thanks, Big Mike

Oh my goodness!!! I finally caught up on everything and I cannot believe I was the first to be inducted into the Big Mike Hall of Fame!!! I am so honored!! Thank you Big Mike!!!

Please let me know when you're heading up to Wisconsin. I would love to meet up with you again. Maybe some of your readers would like you to conduct an interview with the first inductee.

Big Mike, you made my night!

How? Once again you uncovered a new credit I had no idea existed! I'll have to look into visiting Country Mercantile!

Just so you know, Fun Forest finally closed this year...sorry. Windstorm joined a REAL carnival and I believe Rainbow Chaser is still for sale, so you'll have to hunt them down elsewhere.

Big Mike, once again you prove why you are the legend.

Why do you still need to get the Choo Choo Express at Sir Gooney's here in Chattanooga? I thought you got it when you were here last summer.

Jo - Wisconsin is for sure next year, this year is a slight chance! I do need lots of hottie interviews, so as soon as we see each other!!!!

Laura - You can't be a professional coaster hunter downer unless you actually go out and find all these small hidden coasters! Wow, no more Fun Forest?? This is not the way I like to lower my parks needed and coasters still to ride count, but I guess I am now down to 45 parks left in the USA to visit and 102 coasters left in the USA to ride (after riding Apocalypse this weekend).

Kevin - That elusive Sir Goonies coaster has done its best to avoid me yet again! A trip in 2008 resulted in the coaster only running on the weekends while I was there on a weekday, and this past year, the coaster was not operating as it was broken. 2 trips, no luck.

Peace, Big Mike

Well, Mike, the next time you come this way let me know. I'll make sure it is open for you. I know the General Manager at Sir Goony's. He'll listen to me....and I STILL haven't ridden that thing and it is 10 miles from my house. I'll save it for when you are here with me.

I've already said it once, but I'll say it again: I'm honored to be your first interview! And it's awesome that you put a clip of Barefoot in the Park in there!! Amazing job!

Posted

^ And what better park to have the interview at than my home park of Lake Winnie. Even if Mike doesn't know how to pronounce it correctly.

That's ok if you can't make it here until next year. Just make sure to pencil in some pool time at Mt. O. We can conduct the interview there.

I'm on the NE trip this year, so I just might see you around!

It was our first time to go there and we LOVED it! We'll definitely be going back this year!

It is a nice little park. Normally they offer discounts and the like normally it is when you bring a McDonald's receipt. They haven't announced anything this year.

I liked the interview with Brandy and I was enjoying the acting bit with her and her husband, but that was when the video locked up on me. I'd say that Brandy's husband is one lucky guy. She seems like a real sweetheart and those are some very cute kids. On top of that, she make some awesome looking cakes! I bet they're delicious as well. I've always enjoyed the family and friends portions of the road show, along with the TPR hotties segments, so seeing you combine the 2 on video is even better.

Thanks for the kind words!!

Big Mike-

I think the format is great- all around. It's interesting to see your world from your perspective! Not to mention- Bald me DO get all the chicks (Save me, but then again... that goes without saying)

I'd not change anything about it myself- it works the way it is now. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Do you have any plans to come through Arizona this year? (Curiosity more than anything...)

Parker was VERY excited about the shout out in the video.......he said when it started he thought that was his drawing!!! We will have to send you some pics of while you were here with us!!! We all three miss you big man!!!

Posted

Jojo, Brandy, and Jeffrey, Glad you liked the shout outs!

Thats what The Big Mike Road Show is all about, FRIENDS!!!!

Great friends that did something nice for The Big Man getting thier proper recognition for being super cool!!!

Don't think for a second that I don't keep track of who responds in here and supports The Big Mike Road Show and deserves the ultimate respect

Big Mike Valuable Readers = Best in the World!!!

Peace, Big Mike

Big Mike , hey brother, Glad to see the big man back on the hunt for credits. It is hard for me to believe that a person could ride every coaster in the U.S., good luck on your quest. I am mostly a lurker here in Big Mike world but I can tell you are a guy who values fun and hotties and I can get with that.

Posted

Thanks very much!

I really appreciate the lurkers once in a while saying hello, makes all the effort that goes into this worth it!

Big Mike LOVES to know that he is appreciated!

Peace, Big Mike

Nice to see Maryland on your list albeit only for the alpine coaster at the Wisp. This is pretty much in my backyard. It is open year round and we get some pretty harsh winters up this way. But if you visit in the summer, it is only about an hour or so south of Kennywood!!! I would recommend spending at least a day there @ the Wisp as there are some great eateries, taverns, and plenty of things to see and do at the lake......

Posted

Thanks Eddie!!

I did not put much effort into realizing it is only an hour from Kennywood, where I also need a coaster credit!

Sounds like a good weekend plan to collect both coaster credits!!!

Thanks, Big Mike

Posted

No problem, from the Wisp you head up Route 219 to Route 40 through Uniontown, PA. Go on Route 51 until you hit Elizabeth, PA, follow 837 north right up the river to the park......

Posted

See, this is what we need more of!!

I accept your invitation and hopefully will see you in October for those rides together!

Please stay in touch!

Who else wants to invite The Big Man to share some rides?????

Peace, Big Mike
