Big Mike Posted September 5, 2009 Author Posted September 5, 2009 Orlando trip is mid October! Mountain Coaster, not alpine slide dude! Peace, Big Mike
themeparkman25 Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 Tempting. Do I got to Orlando when I am midterm free and have some social time, or do I wait and do it with the Alvey and Big Mike crew? I've only ever met big mike before, might be worth meeting the Alveys since I am on their website more than facebook. Alpine slides...I really don't know how you can justify superman the escape at sfmm as a credit, yet not have the park city/vail resort/glenwood springs alpine coasters not count as a credit.
moinab Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 Hope you are having fun in the NE! I was just looking over your Florida trip schedule. Looks like we're probably going to miss you. I think we're going to WDW the 13th and 14th, and then again for the 23rd and 24th. Let me know if you'll be driving through Jacksonville! I'm sure we'll be seeing you soon, though!
Mechanic Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 Thank you for the awesome Valuable Big Mike Reader button Big Mike! The unused Mikestery card from Sommerland that you included was also a very nice surprise. Knowing that my travels this coaster season wouldn't be taking me anywhere near the remaining parks on the Big Mike schedule, I could do nothing but stare longingly at the pictures posted by those lucky readers that actually found the hidden cards. But now... I have my very own Mikestery card! It really did bring a smile to my face. I'll post a picture soon. Thank you very much Big Mike. You rock! P.S. I completely understand that the Mikestery card now in my possession cannot be used for the Big Mike contest. I'm just happy to have it. Good luck to all those playing the contest this year!
Big Mike Posted September 6, 2009 Author Posted September 6, 2009 Attention Friends!! BIG MIKE HAS REACHED COASTER #900!!!! Anaconda at Zoo de Granby in Canada! Today, all 6 parks in NH, ME, and MA! Peace, Big Mike
coasterfan21 Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Congrats Big Mike and have fun up in my neck of the woods. Looks like you are going to have some amazing weather up here for your trip. Have fun.
traincrossin Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Congratulations Big Mike on number 900! I'm hoping to get my 50th tomorrow.
tt.repo.man Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Hey Big Mike, I can't seem to figure out how to get you banner on my profile. How can I do it? -Caleb

Team Thriller Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Even though your 900th SHOULD have been Blue Fire so I could have ridden it with you, congrats anyway. Hope all is good. --James
Satchboogie3 Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 Hope you had fun at Canobie tonight, Mike. I pulled into the park a little after 6 and it was beyond a nightmare, all of the lots were full and there were still tons of cars arriving. I just decided I had better things to do than stand in the longest-of-the-season lines. Too bad I couldn't meet up with you, though. Was it still that busy as the night went on?
Big Mike Posted September 7, 2009 Author Posted September 7, 2009 Thanks for the good compliments everybody!! Kyle, Canobie was a late scratch from the lineup as it took me too long to finish the first 5 parks today! Big Mike runs into a dilema: Should I..... A. Just coaster whore and get the credits or B. Get the credits and also get pictures of every ride in the park for The Valuable Big Mike Readers and the TPR Park Index? I chose B and got pictures of EVERY ride at EVERY park I visited, but then I did miss 3 parks that I wanted to go to. Such is life on The Big Mike Road Show Tomorrow is a tour of Fenway Park at 9am if anyone has some free time! After that, it is off to CT and then back to Big Mike World Headquarters! Peace, Big Mike
Satchboogie3 Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 Ah, so it's probably for the better that you didn't make it to Canobie. Sounds like you had a great weekend, though! Have you been to Fenway/taken the tour before? It's pretty cool, you get to go to some spots you don't normally see (broadcast booths, etc). As for your schedule, any chance you are going to Ocbolderfest at Compounce next Saturday?
Big Mike Posted September 7, 2009 Author Posted September 7, 2009 Nope Will be in Myrtle Beach at Freestyle Amusement Park! Peace, Big Mike
Sue Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 Will be in Myrtle Beach at Freestyle Amusement Park! Getting a FMP penny for me, right?
Homeboy23 Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 There is still one spot available for the NFL.com league. If someone doesn't sign up by midnight the league will be no more.
Big Mike Posted September 7, 2009 Author Posted September 7, 2009 Big Mike coming to you LIVE from on top of the GREEN MONSTER at FENWAY PARK!!! Someone do Big Mike a HUGE favor and fill that last spot so we can play please!!! Even if you don't want to play, sign up and let the computer pick team! THANKS for doing me this favor! Go back a few pages to figure out how! Peace, Big Mike
coreysjunk Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 Big Mike, I'd be happy to play in BOTH leagues if that's OK. I can't make the live draft, but I'll setup a list of players for the computer to pick for me. -Mr. Bebe
