Homeboy23
I'm 5' 10" 195 pounds and often see a lot of people complain on this site. I'm 5'11" and have no trouble fitting on Premier rides.
Zack44
Wow, they announce this the week before I go to Kennywood myself, probably for the only time. I also like how they never give it a name.
Flyingcoasterfreak
You guys should stop moaning until you ride the damn thing. Dont judge it until you ride it. When will you guys learn?
FeelTheFORCE
I also like how they never give it a name. Official coaster name and logo information will be released in the coming weeks. http://www.palaceentertainment.com/pages/news.html

Ccron10
I have to laugh becuase i was just at the park last week and was going to ride the Turnpike, but it had a long line. I think the concept for the coaster looks awesome. It sort of seems like a Premier Rides version of Maverick at CP with many elements. Right now I am kind of excited for it since depending on the college I attend, it might be easy to drive to. Can't wait to find out the name and see the layout. eddie200330
http://www.rcdb.com/8612.htm Here is the rcdb info, top speed of 50 doesn't sound like there will be much more of a drop than the original 95' top hat thing. Personally I think this will be awesome and a great fit for this small park. Plus it will be the first thing people see coming into the park. On the other hand, so much for trying to get to the ride before the crowds get in, this will be the first thing after exiting the tunnel!! Hopefully the get the queue is built away from the entrance so as not to bottleneck getting into the park. While they are bringing back rides (Bayern Kurve) and saving rides (Turnpike), maybe they could get the Rotor back up on the hill where it belongs!!!! KPfreak519
On another note, anyone else wondering where they are going to put the Turnpike when they bring it back? Im really scratching my head on that one unless they remove something
FeelTheFORCE
I read somewhere, and a Kennywood official on the noon news also said that they were going to try to weave it around the new coaster, but if that doesn't work, then it could also be moved to an unspecified new area. DenDen
YAY KENNYWOOD!!! Very excited for the park, looks like I'll have to do a N.E. trip in 2010!!!! Thank gawd for free lodging up there.
technfxrick
I like how this coaster is barely 4 hours old and everyone is already talking about how awful its gonna be. Cant people just be happy that parks are investing in major attractions with the economy in the tank.

I wouldn't call this major, but I do give Kennywood props for adding much of anything (especially a coaster) in this economy.
eddie200330
well, here is the area they are going to be working with...
xChris125x
Compare to Wicked at Lagoon. Very similar layouts. Kennywood's will just be a little shorter, a little slower, a little longer, a couple more inversions, and a completely flat launch stretch. Looks pretty good to me. Very fitting for the park. kingsdominionlvr
Newer Premier Launchers seem to be pretty compact, I would say that is plenty to work with for this type of coaster.
Vffreak07
I think this is perfect for this size of park. I don't know if it's just me, but I'm already getting sick of those El Loco coasters & this is an alternate. Also, it's nice to see that Premier is continuing to branch out idea wise with their company. This reminds of me not only of Wicked but Lynet at Farup Sommerland as well. Props to Kennywood - Hope this is a good addition.
eddie200330
The RCDB link says that it will have 2 trains of 12 riders. I hope they get a good crew, or this could spell disaster for wait times.........

I don't care about wait times, as long as they get rid of that god awful restraint system used on the older Premier Launchers.
atem122
^We get it, you don't like the restraints. But the capacity thought was my first thought too, there's no way in hell you can keep a line running efficiently with 2, 12 people trains

That way less people get in line for it, just a guess.
technfxrick
Yeah that makes sense, spend many millions of dollars on an attraction and then not promote it so not to get a line

I said they would not promote it as much as the usual new coaster, less commercials, etc.
Homeboy23
That way less people get in line for it, just a guess. That makes no sense whatsoever. If they choose to promote it or not it will get a line. You actually think if they don't promote it people at the park will see the coaster and say "I didn't see a commercial for it, I am not going to ride it"
