And if yes, is it at a certain time, or does it seem like it's all the time? Are you seeing any error messages or any other issues pop up? And if yes, is it at a certain time, or does it seem like it's all the time? They mostly run slow about 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Are you seeing any error messages or any other issues pop up? I haven't seen any error messages or problems.

Are you seeing any error messages or any other issues pop up? 1) The site kicked me out a few times, and I had to LogIn again, and again! 2) I could not edit my posts, yesterday! 3) I found no "Edit" button in the "Members only" forum! 4) I had to reload the site a few times, mostly after sending a new post! SLUSHIE Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 I've gotten a few errors after posting that it failed to send out emails to whoever. It also has been running a bit slow at times.
phazan Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 it has been slow for me but i havent noticed any times it has been slow. it seems like all the time to me but i will check and see if i can point out any particular time. one error i have seen is i posted and it said something wiered about an email and it said i couldnt post. so, i pressed the back button and it said something like- this topic isn't existing or something strange like that. however i looked and my post was there. but that only happened once.
Wes Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 The past week it has been slower than usual (and the site is normally slower to load than westcoaster or other forums i visit). Sometimes it takes a minute or two for the page to load. Usually worse in the evening. Right now it's not too bad.

AllisonY2K Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 yeah the past few days have been really slow. pages slow to load, replies slow to post/show up. chat has been okay. I haven't had any error messages, and I am usually online from 11p-5a, and even with reduced traffic on the site it's been slow.

Angry_Gumball Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 It could be running faster but it's running better than it was this past weekend. Chat room was extremely laggy (took 30+ seconds for my message to display its self) and the site took more like a minute for it to bring me into the forums. (Everything else such as pix and video links worked fine). I was blaming my router at first as it was going bug nuts but noticed lagging after I ironed out the problem. It's still running slower than it used to as I type right now. Oh yea...I'm also on DSL.

Other PHPbb boards have tens of thousands of users and they are lightning fast. I'm going to see of my host can do anything about it, and if not, I'm going to once again look for another host. robbalvey Posted June 18, 2005 Author Posted June 18, 2005 One more thing, if the forum is running slow, can you also try to note how long it takes from the time you click on a thread or topic to when the page actually pops up. On my old host it used to be 5 seconds or less, usually within 1 second, lately I've gotten pages that take 10 to 20 seconds to load. Please let me know! --Robb "Thanks for your help!" Alvey
