Sticky Nicky Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 They have redone the site. Check it out. http://www.intaminworldwide.com/
alpengeist04 Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 I like the new website, spent about 15 minutes going through all the videos. ...Interesting choices on the wooden and mega coaster videos.
kraken613 Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 I watched the video of the AQUATRAX it looks cool! Most ive ever seen of it.
speedracer Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 ^ yeah, very cool to finally see AA's hidden top hat! Had no idea it was that big.
Axman Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 An amusement park NEEDS to build one of those LIM Zac Spins. They look excellent!
Manny In England Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 Great website, Intamin still reign supreme. There are some pretty good videos too.
PURE Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 So where's B&M's answer to this re-vamped Intamin site? Very nice face lift though, thanks for the heads up!
Team Thriller Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 Thanks for sharing the website. I was on for well over twenty minutes!
Sunfire Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 I agree with Axman. The Zac Spin and Ball coasters look really fun!
Looty Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 Very nice site! I have always wanted to ride one of those coaster wheels!...they look so cool. Also, someone in the US really needs to build a large scale ZacSpin
dr.gumbo Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 They seem to be offering a 12 inversion rollercoaster, I wonder what the designs going to be like since its 2000ft longer than the 10 inversion version.
asr Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 200 feet? It is like twice as long as the original model... Supposedly the ECC's club magazine, First Drop did a feature on it and had a picture of the layout. Supposedly it has a Norwegian loop, atleast one vertical loop, and several turnarounds, corkscrews, and inline twists, and is a completly new design not adapted from the Monte Makaya/Colossus design.
Manny In England Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 I was wondering about the ever mysterious 12 Inversion Coaster. Eventually a park will buy one, I wonder which one? Either way I'm sure Chimelong Paradise will create their Twelth Ring Coaster clone.
ginzo Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 The Wing Rider Launch Coaster page has a video of Kingda Ka. Oops. Oh, and the woodie page just has a regular old woodie video. They talk up the prefab woodies, but then give a video of a plain old woodie.
Sticky Nicky Posted October 29, 2007 Author Posted October 29, 2007 At least Intamin actually built the woodie and didn't just take any old random woodie, but they should have used an El Toro or Balder video.
astroworldfan1 Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 I couldn't find the roller coaster section. Its not even listed. They might be working on it right now. Anybody else found that? All they have are tower rides, thrill rides, simulators, and wheels.
chmilo24 Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 I like how on the Giant Drop video, when the cars fall everyone one around the ride is like OMG!!! And one lady in the Gyro Drop video lost her hat.

Roller coasters are linked right off the front page. http://www.intaminworldwide.com/iag/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=22&Itemid=32 It sounds like you may have gotten stuck on the Ride Trade page.
USCoaster Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 I'm impressed with the pictures and video of the pill shaped giant wheel attached to the building. From the pics, I'm assuming its in Japan somewhere. Its a pretty cool design. I also find it very amusing each time a Disney ride system shows up on their website. Sun Wheel, Jumpin Jellyfish and Indy (Multi Motion Dark Ride) were on the previous site and I see they have added the Simulator system being used in Soarin' (Panoramic Flight Simulator). On a similar note, the Multi Media Dark Ride looks like the Spiderman Scoops. While I knew that Disney and Universal had outside help with the ride systems, I am a bit surprised that Intamin is advertising the systems on their site. The Indy and Spiderman systems require the park to spend the money on the rest of the experience and so I don't think Disney/Universal should be too worried about copycat rides, however all the Soarin' system requires is someone with a helicopter, a video camera, and a joystick to program the movements to replicate the experience.
