bobafett Posted October 16, 2008 Share Posted October 16, 2008 This year my family and I are going to do both the 1971 movie version of Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory and the 2005 movie version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I am going as 1971 Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka and my aunt is going as 2005 Johnny Depp Willy Wonka. Other family members will be taking on other roles from each movie. We always start planning our costumes in June and July. We take Halloween very serious. I even got married in October so I could have a Halloween reception. Everyone came in costume, it was great. It is an awesome yard haunt in the La Crescenta area. If anyone wants to go, PM me and I'll give you the information. It is going on tonight as well as Halloween. Last night was the first night, so we were all dressed up! It was so much fun, and we all scared a bunch of people. Here are the pics from last night. Tonight we will look different, so I'll post tonight's pics tomorrow. I'm the one in the Rasta mask, my brother is the one in the Skull-ish mask with the mohawk, and my mom is obviously the one in the dress with the face appliance. She did her own make-up. But hell I'd be too scared to notice that things disproportioned if I was in a scare-house and it just pops out at me. If walking around at night with it for halloween and what not, it's best to just remove it until you get close to a house you want to go up to. Once again, we had a great time and frightened a lot of people. We can't wait for Halloween! We changed our costumes so that we wouldn't look the same as we did on night 1 because we knew that certain people were returning. Here are some pics of us on night 2!
