Clearly there wasn't any one supervising if Pluto's just running around like that to begin with which he shouldn't have been doing, but I think both parties are really at fault here.

He probably punched or kicked the person in the costume and the mother should have been watching her son anyway. There should have been a cast member there to assist Pluto, so everyone is at fault here, Disney, the child,and the mother.

Don't you think that if a Disney camera guy was there he would have stopped Pluto from going after the kid? He probably would have said yo,it's not worth it,even though kids are annoying and stupid,it is not worth getting sued over,so just chill man.

But, It doesn't matter.......The Disney character has to accept the fact that kids just don't understand that these characters aren't real. Hence, the angry dog should have kept his cool with a five??? (or whatever) year old.
buttonman700 Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 I had to play a costumed character ONCE, some kid ripped off my tail, I tprn off the head and screamed at the kid to give back the tail. I hope he's still in therapy. Poor Pluto, the woman didn't puch him over, he fell off the curb.

What I mean is that kids may think "it is only a pupet" so take can punch it, hit it or test it. It still NOT but it might give us a hint why such things repreat.
Chadley Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 Based on the video it looks bad for Pluto to me. The video doesn't show the kids punching Pluto. All it shows is Pluto chasing some little kid around the square, and the mother getting personally involved. By the way, I think Pluto took a dive...that push the mom gave didn't look hard enough to make him fall, even if he did trip off the curb in the process. I was totally loving how Pluto was trying to get support from bystanders! "Did you see what she did to me?!?!"
Hobbesx2 Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 I don't care if that kid punched him in the balls, that guy went crazy. That kid will have mental problems for a long time. I would have told him to stop and found some other kid to take photos with or whatever they do. If he bothered me again I would have got his parent or got another staff member to help. That kid was running pretty fast for his age, though. He must have been scared shitless.
