Canadmos Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 They are there to mess with your brain. And from the sounds of it, they are doing a pretty good job.
asr Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 I just looked at the CW website again, and the animation is back to being Patriot. Also, someone of CWMania claims that B&M track and supports are on site, colored Yellow with an Orange spine and Blue supports, which sounds exactly like Talon's color scheme, so I'm not sure I believe it
BeemerBoy Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 This thread is making me care less and less about what it might actually be.
Brother Jay Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 First Track and supports on site. B&M Confirmed  http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff230/ragingbulltoronto/DSCF2041.jpg  http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff230/ragingbulltoronto/DSCF2043.jpg
kraken613 Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Definatly not DM. I think flyer/invert or hyper im going more tword hyper but those supports looks skinny for a hyper. Who knows what it will be!
asr Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 The piece of track in picture 2 looks like the start of a curving drop to me. Since it won't be an invert or flyer, and Hypers usually don't have curving drops, I'm thinking it will be the world's tallest and fastest floorless, standing at 175 feet tall and reaching speeds of over 70 MPH. Â EDIT: I forgot about the mysterious un-lit bars in the animation, so it may be taller than 175 feet.
yankees15 Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 I am still going with a hyper but it could be a floorless.
307 Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Oh god the second picture makes me think "flyer". Â I'd take hyper. Floorless. Inverted. WhATEVER. BUT NO FLYER. I HATE FLYERS.
christianscoasters Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 That second picture kinda looks like a zero-g-roll. If it was, sorry. No hyper this time. And the supports are very skinny. I really want to know soon!
bgwfreak Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Considering that the park already has a flying coaster, it seems a floorless or hyper is possible. Â Something else, on the site on the right side of the bar it says "87 feet"...what could that mean?
thecoasterkid Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 I definitely don't hate flyers (or atleast not the B&M versions) but I would definitely be disappointed if that's what this coaster turns out to be. I think it's very very unlikely, and I'm still putting my money on a hyper, floorless, or dive machine. If it turns out to be a flyer that would make Tomb Raider even more redundant than it already is. Â I'll be at the park tomorrow with Andrew (Coaster_Dude) so I'll bring along my camera and zoom lens and do some spy photography for everyone.
coastrfreak2000 Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 The piece of track in picture 2 looks like the start of a curving drop to me. Â Perhaps it's a drop out of the station? Most B&M's have a little dip in the turn before the lift hill.
kraken613 Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Track is to small for a DM but what about the first floorless Hyper!
CoasterNut17 Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 That track is way to skinny to be Dive Coaster track. My vote goes to floorless. (It could also be a classic sit-down) Can't wait to see those pictures! Â The color scheme looks really close to Talon's.
kraken613 Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 I dont thinks its an invert but does Canada have a B&M invert? I want a wicked floorless with a Kraken Zero-G roll. When I went on Kraken for the first time I freaked out on the roll it was so awsome! Â 200th POST!
christianscoasters Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Now that I think about it, that second picture kinda looks like an immelman.
asr Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 I dont thinks its an invert but does Canada have a B&M invert? I want a wicked floorless with a Kraken Zero-G roll. When I went on Kraken for the first time I freaked out on the roll it was so awsome! 200th POST!  Yes, Vampire at La Ronde, and CW already has an invert (but just an SLC).
vacoaster Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 This is definitely part of the pull out from the station. If I compare this to Nitro it looks very similar to the part of track that the train is rolling over in this photo: http://rcdb.com/ig1106.htm?picture=15. Alot of people are saying that it looks like talon. When i compare the color schemes of this ride and the colors on Nitro. The only thing different is that that nitro uses pink on the rails and this track uses a light orange. Besides that the colors are the same. I really think the ride is gonna be a huge hyper coaster.
IwantRevenge Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 i dunno that transition looks really tight not to be an inversion of some sort, i'd go with maybe a flyer with Tatsuish elements (also the paint scheme looks like Tatsus anyway ) Â Â Edit- it looks like the exit to an immelmann
Swoosh Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 Sure looks like a hyper to me, but then again you might be viewing this photo differently than I am... Â
KGA29 Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 Sure looks like a hyper to me, but then again you might be viewing this photo differently than I am... Â Â Were you the one who Screamscape reported? Â www.screamscape.com/html/canada_s_wonderland.htm
kraken613 Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 I dont think we can know what it is going to be until they announce it because it changes coaster types.
