Did when I was in high school. Have not played since (20 years). And somewhat proud of it for some reason.

Probably has something to do with George Carlin's bit about how golf courses are the ultimate symbol of our country's ambivalence toward the homeless, and how they should be torn down to provide much-needed housing.

Yeah, I used to play quite frequently and was on the middle school and high school J-V team back in 9th grade.

My handicap has been right around 12-15 for 4-5 years now, since I don't really play that much (once a month).

I did shoot a 124 on 27 holes the other day. Combining my best two 9 holes, I shot an 80, which is my best for 18 holes. My best for 9 is 38.

I finally made a par the other day....lol. It was on a course with average holes about 90 yards, the hole I did par on was a 73 yarder. Pitching wedge on green with two putts. I over shot so many holes on this course because most holes were short. Also almost hit a car in a parking lot next to the course. Lost two balls and put one into a bean field. It was a good dAY.

I've been asked a few times what my golf handicap is. My reply is always the same: those little windmills get me every time!

Seriously, I did play golf only one time when I was about 15 or 16. Shot a 150, which I guess isn't too bad for a first time.

I used to take lessons when I was little, but I didn't really have that great of an interest in it. I would like to try it someday, though. I usually prefer fast, exciting sports like paintballing and dirtbiking...golf just doesn't cut it.

Regrettably I don't golf that much (about 5 times on course per season), but I do hit up the driving range a lot. I actually just got back. I'm between 200-250 with the 3-wood, and 200 and under with the 7-iron.

This year has been absolutely terrible for me, golf wise. In June I got flooded out and moved 15 minutes away from the shortest course in town. In turn, I have been golfing twice this year. I may go probably 4 more times before winter hits. I plan on trying to golf in the snow because that sounds like fun (just have to use a non white golf ball, otherwise that would suck).

The guy who was giving me pointers on driving at practice the other day could drive it 400 yards at will. Holy Jesus.

In the meanwhile, our team lost today's match so we ran a lap around the whole fucking course. My coach can eat my shorts.

For 9 or 18 holes?

Golf is actually my favorite sport. I play on our varsity golf team, and try to get out and play a round everyday after school...

(On hold right now though; I have tendinitis from playing too much!)

I'm going virtual golfing for my uncle's bachelor party on Saturday! (It's a lot more realistic then it might let on. The ball even sinks in a little when you place it on the fine-haired "sand trap" square in front of the screen!)

My handicap is about a 20, but it's been a while since I've played. I also have a hole-in-one on a par 3, 167 yard hole. The ball and trophy sits on top of my bookcase with the witness signed scorecard.

^ That's cool. The closest I've ever got to a hole in one was on a 120 yard downhill par 3. I topped it, but it rolled down the hill and right over the hole.

My handicap is around 20 also, or to be honest my swing it my true handicap.

Oh I've played that before in Reno a few years ago! I play golf with my friends whenever we're not all crazy busy. My best score on a 9 hole course is 38 and my best on 18 is 85. I can drive the ball straight and about 280 yards. My putting is really good. My problem is my shots from the fairway. For some reason I can never make good contact. Haha my golf game is like a good roller coaster. It goes way up and then comes crashing down only to go back up a few more times

^Virtual golf putting doesn't like me. I can put the same effort into a putt that "goes" half a foot as one that shoots 30 feet above the pin...
