:b Finally! There is justice in the world!

Amen

I am sick of seeing her in the media since all she does is make movies that don't sell and get in trouble.

It will be nice to have 45 Paris free days, But she will be all over the media when she gets out. Diane sawyer will have interviews and the insider will probably go crazy with this story

I can take a good bet she is going to make a lot of money off of it. I am sure she is going to get tons of interviews, and tell her story everywhere about how it is in prison.

Here are a couple of things from this article I was absolutely loving!...

1) "I feel that I was treated unfairly and that the sentence is both cruel and unwarranted. I don't deserve this," she said.

2) Hilton, the star of "The Simple Life" reality television show, must report to the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood by June 5 or risk being ordered to serve 90 days in jail.

...Man, I hope she doesn't get the message until June 6th!

Paris Hilton fires manager blamed for jail sentence

Mon May 7, 12:33 PM ET

LOS ANGELES (AFP) - Paris Hilton has parted company with her long-time manager who she blamed for the events that led to her jail sentence for driving on a suspended license, reports said Monday.

The celebrity socialite was handed a 45-day stay in prison after a dramatic Los Angeles court hearing on Friday where she was found to have violated her parole for drink-driving by twice taking to the wheel while banned.

Hilton, 26, testified that she had only been driving on the advice of her manager Elliot Mintz, who she claimed had told her she was allowed to drive and that police officers who had stopped her must be mistaken.

In a statement reported by celebrity website TMZ.com, Mintz said he accepted the blame for the "misunderstanding" which means the Hilton hotel heiress will spend over six weeks in jail starting from June 5.

Mintz said in the statement he had sent an email to Hilton "offering my sincerest apology for any misunderstanding she received from me regarding the terms of her probation."

"I am deeply and profoundly sorry. I told her that I assume personal responsibility for my part in this matter," Mintz said, adding that he was convinced Hilton had told the truth in court.

"I believe when stated in court that she believed it was OK for her to drive under certain circumstances she was being absolutely truthful.

"Paris is a wonderful person and does not deserve the punishment that was handed down by the court."

In her first comments since receiving the prison sentence, Hilton told photographers camped outside her home in the Hollywood Hills on Saturday that she had been treated unfairly.

"I feel that I was treated unfairly and that the sentence is both cruel and unwarranted. I don't deserve this," she said.

Hilton, the star of "The Simple Life" reality television show, must report to the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood by June 5 or risk being ordered to serve 90 days in jail.

Hilton's lawyer Howard Weitzman, said he will appeal the sentence which he described as "uncalled for, inappropriate and bordering on the ludicrous."

^ There was no "misunderstanding". She got caught violating probation and since this wasn't her first offense yeah of course something should happen to her. I hate it when celebrities think they can do whatever they want just because of who they are. I hope she does get butch fisted in prison.

Now its been reported that once Paris enters the Pokey, she'll be allowed only two pairs of undies a week, one 5-minute shower a day and no makeup, highlights or hair extensions.......Oh the Horror!!!

Then lesson here is, being "Fashionably Late" for court doesn't really endear you to the Judge.

They are going to make her wear panties? Seriously this is going to make her a bigger celeb. Am I the only one expecting a sextape out of this?

Her private life, including the jail sentence, is none of our business. She would be nowhere if it weren't for people prying into her life. Even if you despise her and express it, she still gets the publicity. Does anybody else get such publicity for breaking probation? No, and that is what makes her famous. Celebrity news is one thing that I will never understand why people have such a deep interest in.

Paris Hilton deserved to get 45 days in jail. She broke a law and she needs to own up for it. Just because she has money doesn’t mean anything. She’s in for a rude awakening, jail life is gonna suck for her because she tried to bribe her way out of jail with money and the cellmates are gonna rip her apart for it.
