Coaster Palooza
Great meeting you and Leanne. I am enjoying the rest of your trip out to Cali. We liked Grand Californian when we stayed at Disneyland too. Sorry we had to leave so abruptly on Sunday, but time ran away from us. It was nice seeing Soren and meeting Alessandra too! Keep the pics coming!
Erik Johnson
Why did it always stop on the 3rd floor before reaching the basement? It "stops" on the 3rd floor because that is when the elevator is unloading the previous guests. Then the hand moves down to B, and you load. Also, the mountain is a grizzly bear, not a wolf. That's why it's called Grizzly Peak, dumbass. LOL! It still looks more like a wolf to me. I guess only in Erik's DCA land.

Erik Johnson
We went back to Disneyland for a few more hours after DCA closed so we could ride Space Mountain, Indy, as well as eat Dole Whip. They next day we did return to Disneyland so we could make a full day out of it. Disneyland Part 1 Yeah, we had to get our picture taken here. After lunch candy. The world famous Monte Cristo. Oh yeah. We ate here. It was cool to see the boats float by while you waited to ride. The New Orleans area was quite nice. Its really gong to be hard to ride MK's version of Pirates again. Oops, I forgot to take pictures of Big Thunder. We did ride it a couple of nights before. Lets go to Frontierland. I thought it was funny how close Adventureland and Frontierland were. The back of the castle. This was a really cool dark ride. Gadget coaster was my 150th credit. Its a fitting mailbox. Its was a pretty cool area. Toon Town > Mickey's Birthdayland (whatever its called now). Some information about Small World. I do prefer MK's version, because its all inside, has a flooded building, and is shorter. Yeah, we had to ride it. We did the Railroad ride through storybook land. Its really nice. Though the rides are pretty much the same, though Disneyland has a lot more. Disneyland's Fantasyland is a lot nicer than the Florida one. I just love Mr. Toad. This version was really great. Alice In Wonderland was a pretty good dark ride. Through the tunnel onto the lift hill. Matterhorn, Fantasyland side. OK, its time to earn a credit. We never did ride the monorail at Disneyland. Yeah, its one of those "nice" pictures. Yeah, I just had to do it. We found this name. Me and my new friend. Here is the famous spot. Yeah its true, the castle is really small. The train was closed. Oh well, maybe next time we will get lucky. Ok, lets go to Disneyland. Rockin...blah blah blah. Leanne loves her strawberries. I guess DCA started this up. Today is our full Disneyland day. Dole whip rocks! I just had to get my Disneyland Dole Whip credit.
65skylark
Great pictures Erik. It was great meeting up with you guys again. Hopefully we can do it again soon. Too bad you had to visit when they were doing Rockin' Suck Mountain, but hopefully next time you visit it will be back to normal. Justin
Erik Johnson
Disneyland Part 2 Tiki Room flowers. Our final attraction, The Original Enchanted Tiki Room. While technically surperior in every way, I prefer MK's track layout. Onward to the Space Station. We really did not mind the Rockin version, but we have never ridden the "real" version. We decided to ride Rockin Space Mountain again. We though Autopia was good. These are just like the original MK Space Mountain trains. Time to ride the Tomorrowland side of Matterhorn. No animal petting for us this visit. Yeah, the Jungle Cruise is always fun. "Let us go Left!" "No, let us go right!" Lets go visit the Columbia. I miss the canoes at MK. This is where the Pooh cars go to sleep. Wave to Pooh as we walk by. Pooh Track. They allowed us to take pictures. Pooh turned into a walk-through at this point. Totally E-stopped on Pooh. I think someone just broke the ride. The coolest thing about Pooh was the grassy queue area. Splash Mountain is closed until the summer. It was cool to ride the "working" version of The Haunted Mansion. Though this version is a little bit shorter. Entertainment in New Orleans. arrowfanman
Great PTR Erik! I'm really glad that you enjoyed the parks as much as you did! Looks like you went on beautiful days. And I'm so envious that you stayed at the Grand Californian! One of these days I'll rake up the money and an excuse to stay there! I'm also glad you said you liked Indy, or else I'd have to kill you! Cant wait to see more! -Jahan

Erik Johnson
Ok, since this was our first visit to southern California, we had to do the Hollywood thing.....right? Hollywood: See anything familiar? Disneyland has its own star. Yummy. Ice cream is good for you. I will have 3 of these, thank you very much. Mickey welcomes you inside. Right next to that is Disney's Ice Cream store. Across the street is Disney's El Capitan Theatre. Even though its a remake, this version totally kicks all kinds of butt. Right next door is that Oscars place we saw on TV the week before. He freaking finally won something this year. A Star Wars shrine. Or a giant blue hat blocking the view. No Great Movie Ride in here. Yep, we visited the real version. Ever seen the Chinese theatre from the side? Yeah, it was a pretty good tour. Soren entertained us for a little while. I wonder what would happen if I ate this cake. They have kept the cafe from Friends. The Batmobile, from one of the really crappy Batman movies. Its the Mystery Machine. See, its says so right there. The Gilmore Girls House, though I have never seen the show. Night Court. These things make rain. Well its not. Looks real, does it not? I looks a bit different in person. Lets go inside. I could not find a basketball to play with. We got to visit one of the ER sets. I am just waiting for the Animaniacs to eat us. Ocean's 13 set. The guard let us through. Here we go! Its a good way to spend three hours. Bugs and Daffy welcome us. So yeah, we went to visit the Warner Brothers Studio. The Paradise Pier Hotel, not as awesome. Bye bye nice hotel. Well, it is time to leave the Disneyland Resort.
Swimace
Great TR! I wish I could get on some of those old school Disneyland rides that they don't have in Florida. California looks like a lot of fun, the only park I've made it to out there is Knotts but hopefully I'll get to Magic Mountain and Disneyland within the next few years. robbalvey
$7,000? Geez, you mean to tell me that they could have saved all that money on those stupid signs and bought the Zippin Pippin? Meteornotes
The fact that ACE would spend $7000 on a sign shows everything that is wrong with that organization. dt
