Movieguy Posted May 12, 2005 Posted May 12, 2005 I agree with you 100% about the Blair Witch Project. I really just didn't understand the hype behind it all. Another one I didn't like was Conan The Destroyer. The original Conan The Barbarian was a fascinating film, and it had a wonderful score from Basil Poledouris, which I own on CD. Conan The Destroyer on the other hand was injected with too much dumb humor, and made the mistake of casting the eternally insane Grace Jones in a part. Doug "That woman needs a tranquilizer!" Booth
Sir Clinksalot Posted May 12, 2005 Posted May 12, 2005 Movieguy, you have to remember that half the people who saw BWP thought it was an actual documentary. "No dear, it was just a badly made movie. Everything will be alright." I was really glad we didn't show it at my theatre. We got lots of reports of folks vomiting from all the shaky-cam in that POS.

And yes, everyone was raving on about how good Napoleon Dynamite was i just couldn't get into it! Course it had a few laughs but wasn't good enough!

Coasters 4 ever Posted June 5, 2005 Posted June 5, 2005 Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie (Only 10 year olds like this, other than that, like criticis said, one 90 minute long advertisement) Hey! I don't like Yu-Gi-Oh and would rather eat a whole pie of Pizzafari's pizza than watch that movie! The worst movies I saw were: Spy Kids 3D - The 3D made it even worse! The Spongebob Squarepants Movie - Not even close to as good as the T.V. show. Elektra - The last quarter of it wasn't bad, but the rest was really boring. Shrek 2 - Not really a bad movie, but it didn't make me laugh hard once. The original was SO much better. A.I. Artificial Intelligence - I didn't get this movie at all.
