Erik Johnson
As if you already did not know, Leanne and I met up with a group of TPR members this weekend for our annual Halloween meet. Yes it was an awesome experience. This year was even better than last with all of the "new" enhancements such as the VIP HHN tour, Howl-O-Scream, Cypress Gardens, and the wonderful house we got to stay in. It was great to meet some more TPR members on this trip as well as to see some old friends. Well anyways, onto the pictures! We found our room. More coming soon! Volume 8, coming soon! We all love the house. We had wireless. Fire is simply wonderful. Ian came all the way from Australia to visit with us fools. Was it really your birthday Soren? Volcano time in Japan. I guess Guy had a full day at Epcot. LIttle Richard showed up. Jahan loves Mexico! Real men drink Beverly. Guy decides to do the Beverly challenge. Everyone loves Test Track. Test Track has a cold spot on the ride. Rich is waiting ladies. Lets go ride Test Track. Quick! Call Reedy Creek! Kim was our good luck charm while playing the awesome M:S game. So did Kim. What do you mean Ryan survived? We choose to go! Someone else also loves Gary. More intense? Yes, please! Guy was ready to ride the more intense side of Mission: Space. The Test Track fast pass machine made a meal out of Robb's ticket. Kim also showed up. Yes, I got to meet Ryan today. Yeah, Robb showed up. Hey I got to meet another TPR member, mcjaco. I am located in the east wing of Innoventions. Or was it the west wing? Thanks for letting me know about it awesome TPR people. I love this game. No Starship this weekend Mmmmmmmmm...Lift rocks! I love Epcot. Awwwww...what happened to this poor parking lot cone? Yeah, I work for this guy. Thousands of motorcycles show up for these events in Daytona. Wow! I have never seen a flying motorcycle before. Look! Motorcycles! It was Biketoberfest this weekend down in Daytona. Daytona Beach < Expedition Everest Before heading down to Orlando, I had to go down to Daytona to work. Yes, Libby went to go visit her grandparents for the weekend. Erik Johnson
The next day was a Universal day along with Halloween Horror Nights 2006. I think we can all agree that this year's event was really great, especially if you sign up for one of the R.I.P. tours. Thanks Universal, for a great time. Leanne got to meet Darkness. I could not figure out if Robb was scared or excited. Rich loves Metallica. James Hetfield from Metallica showed up. Bill and Ted along with their female versions. Juggernaut is pretty strong. The gang broke out into song and dance. Same with Jack Sparrow. Tom and Katie showed up. Poor rodents. C.G.I. man got to have an action scene. Juggernaut did some dancing as well. Something seems a bit different about Superman this year. As always, a bunch of well known people show up for the show. Hooray! Bill and Ted show up. Joe found a new friend. The Bill and Ted show is always our favorite show. With the R.I.P. tour, you get front row seats for the Bill and Ted show. Carlos thought he was going to control the Bill and Ted show. Joe decided to lead us through some of the mazes. Leanne was ready to eat some food. As always, Universal theming is top notch. We were really happy to see that a nice buffet was prepared for us. This guy is always cool. Michael Roddy was kind enough to come out and visit with us for a while. Carlos and the Queen's bike from last year's event. I think it was the third year that the event was named, "Halloween Horror Nights." They had all kinds of HHN props from past years in here. We started off by visiting the HHN museum. Everyone had fun putting on stickers. Universal totally rocks. The R.I.P. tour is really great for this event. Hi there Rideworld gang! This was the first time I have ever seen metal dectectors for Halloween Horror Nights. Robosaurus just received his dinner for the evening. After riding The Mummy, we noticed Beetlejuice having some fun. Much later in the day I did find my way down to Universal. Dueling Dragons > Winn Dixie It was early in the morning that I had to leave the house....for work.
Imhotep
As always, Universal theming is top notch.  LOL you are right about the theming, its always top notch... Except they may have got this perticular peice of theming at the Spirit Store   Still cool though
Erik Johnson
Ok onto more Epcot, Ohana's, as well as Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom. It was a good night, we ended up with a bunch of leftover candy. The tram line was insane, at least they had several trams running. Big Thunder at night is always good. Yep the event was sold out for the night Robb getting exclusive monorail footage. Are you sure this is not a Six Flags park? Carlos again wins with the best TPR costume. Yep, Donkey made his return this year as well as Supergirl. The place had some nice Halloween decorations. "You can not leave this place until you finish you plain pasta dish!" Ryan's vertical loop straw was pretty cool. We need more drinks! If you leave hungry from this place, it is your fault. I believe this was Chuck's first visit to Ohana's. Mmmmmmmm....meat! I can not wait until dessert. Yes please! Time for some dinner. Imagination.... Eric Idle + moon = creepy Too much Figment! If you are into beer make sure you check it out. It is right by the American pavillion. This is what we sampled, and everything you need to know about them. We received a free special Sam Adams beer top remover device. Do you think Derek is happy? I had to bribe Sam Adams to let me into his free beer tasting. The Food and Wine Festival is everyone favorite time to visit Epcot. Jasmine invited us over to meet her. Now unto the best part of Epcot, eating around the world. We all loved Nemo. Let's ride Nemo! We then went over to see the new Nemo ride. Is this technically a dark ride Dave? Living with the Land (with new narration) POV shot. We got to meet up with Pianojohn for a while. We also choose to go. How you doing Gary? More intense M:S? Sure, why not. Over to Mission: Space. After Soarin', we went over to ride Test Track. 10 minute wait? Yes, please! Mmmmmmmm, you can never get enough of Epcot. Everyone was ready to go at 8:30. Erik Johnson
Onto Cypress Gardens and BGT. We had a nicer time at Cypress this year because during our last visit I was sick. I finally got to get my final 2 credits there as well as ride to awesome Disk-O and Spinning raft rides. Thanks for the good time Cypress. We did attend Howl-O-Scream as well. While it may be true that we do enjoy Halloween Horror Nights more, we thought that HOS was fun. The mazes were much longer than expected and had some nice theming to it. Anyways, onto the photos. This show was pure awesomeness. Before Howl-O-Scream we had dinner. Ketchup Man showed up. Scorpion was running great as always. Games are fun, especially when you use your free game coupons. The back row was running great though. Kumba awesomeness, though I understand the middle rows were rough that day. Everyone earned the Python credit before its rumored removal. Yes, even Python. Everyone was able to get every credit in the park today. Among the sea of cars, you can see some TPR people. MMmmmmmmm.....Montu. I hope we get to go to this place during the next TPR meet. I was surprised how much fun Disk-Os are We also got to ride the bootleg flyers. The spinning mouse was credit #130. The Fiesta Express...Credit #129. The Vekoma skater was the first coaster of the day. We did not have much time, so we just pretty much just hit the rides. Yes we got all the credits. Just like other theme parks in the area, Cypress had all sorts of Halloween theming. The lady who is in charge of PR for Cypress was very nice. Thanks for the visit! Erik Johnson
Our final day was at Animal Kingdom as well as Disney/MGM. At least we had some fastpasses to use, though the coaster was busted again. I hate saying goodbye. Acting all goofy on the Tower. OH heck yeah, its the Tower ride! Ian and Cameron discuss all things about the homeland. Soren found his menu. You better get used to it. Mmmmmmmmmm...... Somebody must have tipped off the rodents that Elissa was in the park. Clarice made a special rare visit to the park today. Over at MGM, we found Nightmare mouseears. Yep, both sides were open today. Let's shoot this sucker. NOT OUR DINO! Guy earned his EE credit.....with steam. Super cute parking tickets...awww I want to go again. Everest has really done a lot to boost AK's attendence. That morning we had to leave the house. mcjaco
Another fine TR. It was nice finally meeting you in person Erik. As well as, Reed and Stacy (we should have kicked butt in "Where's the Fire?"). And of course the rest of the crew that showed up later. Â I wish I could of planned it out better and stayed the rest of the week. Â On a side note, my cab ride back to the hotel was about two times longer and half as cheap s the ride to Downtown Disney. I got hosed on the trip from the Convention Center...

Coaster Palooza
Erik, Â Your cat does look a little upset to be in that cage. Our cat starts letting out the worst sound once we put her in there too. She really isn't amused. Â It looks like a great time was had by all. Halloween in Florida looks like so much fun. I love October! The weather is perfect this month too. It is my birthday month also and Halloween has to be my favorite holiday!
ebl
A little off-topic, but it was nice meeting you, Erik, during the Westcoaster staff trip at Epcot a week and a half ago. Looks like the TPR trip was fun, too. Â When I looked at your pictures in this topic, it seemed like I was just there a couple of days ago. Maybe because I went to the parks so many times while I was there. Â Eric

bgwfreak
Going on TPR FL trip > Going to work every day.  Maybe I'll get to one of these someday (if it's open to anyone). Not sure if it is or not.  I've got a super, exciting, splendifulous Charlotte Bobcats PTR coming up this week (whenever I feel like doing it). lol  But hey, I've always got closing weekend at Carowinds in the 50's instead of the 70's or 80's like you guys.  Thanks Erik for another great PTR!!! cfc
Good stuff, Erik--it was a pleasure meeting you and Leanne last week. As for my cat, I left him at home in the care of a friend. I distract him with a can of Fancy Feast so that I can sneak out the door--once he starts wolfing down that glop, he's oblivious to everything else. Â That'll do, Donkey. That'll do.
