I wish there was a spoiler tag or something here, because I've seen who the man on the boat is, the picture is all over the web.

And the Lost game? I hear it did unveil one thing but other than that it was pretty mediocre

One more thing I just remembered about the epsiode. It was clarified that Ben did not know who was on the plane before in crash landed, although Jacob may have known and chosen the passengers on Oceanic 815, Ben did not know. The others found out who was on the plane after it went down, Ben was shocked to find out that a surgeon who could him was on the plane.

^Ben did seem genuinely surprised to find out about there being a doctor on the plane.

I thought of something that would support the theory that Ben has dabbled in the "time travel". The tumors on his back could of been caused by being exposed to the radiation that causes it.

Also, did the announcer in the previews say that we would find out the final member of the Oceanic Six, or the final members of the Oceanic Six? I am pretty sure he said member, which would mean we already know five members.

Have all of the Oceanic 6 that have been announced to date seen apparitions on the island that might be the smoke monster:

Jack - his father

Kate - the Black Stallion

Hurley - his friend from the pysch ward, Jacob's cabin

Sayid - did he see Walt or was it just Shannon that saw him

If that is the case I would have to predict Locke will be one of the remaining Oceanic 6 as he saw Jacob, the cabin and Walt

Can anyone recall another Lostie who has seen an apparition on the island?

^Sawyer saw the boar.

Tonight's episode was alright. A couple of "no duh" reveals and one pretty surprising (to me) twist with Jin actually being in a flashback, not a flash-forward. So, did Jin die on the island or once he got off? I couldn't figure out what date his tombstone said, but I thought I saw a 2004.

As soon as I saw Michael tonight, I remembered how annoying he was.

"My son! They took my son! Walt! They took Walt!"

Also, pretty crazy that the crew members of the ship are committing suicide.

Jin did tell Sun he would do anything for the baby, so maybe he is still on the island. He had to stay to let her go.

Something caused the woman on the boat, Regina, to start going blind. hmmmm!

The date on the tombstone was 9/22/04, the date of the crash. Maybe he's one of the 8? I think somehow Jin is still on the island

If he had to fake his death and stay on the island, then Sun wouldn't have put on a show just for herself and Hurley, since they both would know the truth.

I am so confused. I can't tell what was a flashback and flashforward. So... anyone care to explain what happened?!

Posted

^Sure, what we saw of Jin took place before the island, and what we saw of Sun took place after the island. The two were edited together to make it seem it was Jin's flashforward as well. It now appears Jin died on the island.

Posted

^Ohh okay, thanks! I'm not convinced he's dead though. So is Sun the last person of the Oceanic 6?

Posted

Sun is the 5th. Wait until next week! The 6th could be Claire, it couldbe Michael, we just don't know yet. I believe Jin really is dead, because Sun was crying with only Hurley and the baby around. Hurley would have known the truth, so she wouldn't have put on a show for him. But, we'll see!

Posted

^Don't you think it is possible that Sun is crying because she knows that the man she loves, the father of her baby is alive but she can never see him again?

I guess we will have to keep watching to find out for sure.

^That is what I thinking. Maybe she uses the grave as a connection with him to feel like she is communicating with him. I mean, not physically, but he is dead. She doesn't think she will ever see him again, so it makes sense that although she knows he's really alive, it still feels like he's dead.

So, just kind of out there for a minute... I noticed last night watching last week's episode, about Ben's safe combination -- 36-15-28. If you assign values A=1, B=2, etc., but reset the values at the end of the alphabet (A=27, B=28, etc.), you get J-O-B. Now Job 15:28 states that:

They will live in desolate cities,

in houses that no one should inhabit,

houses destined to become heaps of ruins.

Thus, the question: Does this refer to Locke's camp, or even that 4-toed statue which is seemingly part of a larger ruin?

...Or does it simply refer to Ben's "job" as leader/protector of the island he's so happily imposed upon himself, and thus his combination?

...Or am I simply looking too far into this as usual?

I noticed the date on the tombstone, too, but I took it to be part of the big post-rescue lie. Everyone "knows" there were only six survivors, so it's only natural for Jin to have "died" in the plane crash if he didn't return with Sun. However, I think he's still alive on the island.

Saddest moment in the history of television. Or my television, anyway. It's only about a year old.

Didn't think the episode was that great...too much emotional crap!

I do agree with the poster who said how they remembered instantly how annoying Michael was though!!! LOL! So true! I hope they kill him off next week! That would be awesome.

Posted

Well, from first impression, Michael seemed more than a bit subdued in the hallway there.

Maybe he's drugged and brainwashed and timewarped, oh my!

I'm curious what happened to his son.

Yeah, that was me. Candace and I started mocking him as soon as we saw him..."Walt! Where's Walt! Where's my son!" Sayid really looked like he wanted to smack him one.

and about the bible quote ^^^^

Back when I was reading spoilers, they did mention that the "Others" were headed to some sort of ancient ruins. I think we are supposed to see that as a setting when the show starts back up in April.
