CreativeForce
So if Ben is Alex's father, does that mean he knows Danielle is still alive? Does Danielle know that Ben is the father or was she implanted with the embryo in some weird Dharma test? I have to say that this episode was much better than the six previous and I hope it marks the return of good storytelling on this show. I was afraid that the show had "jumped the shark" but if it stays on last nights level then it will once again be my #1 show. And can I say, this was my first LOST with Tivo, (I got one for Christmas) and it's so worth it to wait the extra 20 minutes before starting so that you can watch without commercials!! Golfie
Holy s*** that scene with the loud music/drug test/crazy video torture room freaked me out so badly. I'm glad the style is getting back to how it was in the beginning.
larrygator
^^I did not consider that Ben is really Alex's daughter since I thought Rousseau was pregnant when they got stranded and that her husband was a French scientist that died. I wonder if Jack is going to marry Ben now since the last person he saved after accidentally severing them during spinal surgery was his ex?????? Wishmaster
For those of you who played The Lost Experience and remember creepy evil guy, a.k.a. Mittlewerk: the biotech company that offered a job to Juliet was named "Mittelos". I'm more interested in the fact that Mittelos is an anagram for "Lost time". The show is filled with easter eggs. Some are just for fun, but others are actually hints. Also where the hell are those houses that the others were living in when the plane crashed? On the main island, about 9 miles from the tail section (Ben said Goodwin needed about an hour to reach it) and a little further from the fuselage than the distance between the fuselage and the tail. obeygiant
^ Well, if you looked closely, you will see that the bus that hit Juliets ex-husband had an Apollo ad on it...Anyone who followed the Lost Experience or remembers the candy bars from the hatch should know what this is.. Joe Cool
Sorry about that. Well let me clear up my mess up. Juliet gave that shot to her sister. Back in season one Ethan gave that shot to Claire when she was in the medical hatch. Best episode so far in the season becasue they actiolly answered questions compared to Sawyer, Kate, and Jack locked up and then some fighting. stingrock23
Larry, Jack's ex wasn't the one he accidentally screwed up, that was an earlier surgery he performed. His ex came in after an auto accident, was paralyzed, and he healed her somehow
larrygator
^phew thanks for clearing that up, I didn't think Ben was Jack's type anyway.
matteocrepaldi
One more thing: they broadcast two episodes every wednesday, right?
obeygiant
^ I don't know about that..They usually always air clip shows along w/ premeires..and I think they're airing Not In Portland before the new episode next week....So I don't know..maybe they're just doing that to help people catch up.. I really hope they air 2 episodes every week! I can have time to theorize before the new show! (and by 2 new episodes I mean a repeat then the new episode)
Wishmaster
^^ They can't air two "new" episodes for the simple reason that actually have to film it. The filming proces usually takes about 9 days per episode so at the end of each season the airing catches up with the production. If they aired more than one episode per week they would run out of episodes before the end of the season and we'd get an other mid-season stop. txnhrt
I would LOVE it if they'd run the previous week's episode and the 'new' episode back to back. I always seem to miss something when watching an episode the first time, and when the show finally repeats I inevitably see something I missed. The guide is definitely a "catch up", but like others have said, this one was a little "confused"... I think you'd only be able to follow it if you watched the previous seasons. It certainly wasn't meant for someone just discovering the show for the first time. But the new episode was great! Very action-packed and "edge of your seat"... and I'm soooo glad there won't be any repeats this round. I was getting a bit aggrivated at 4-5 new episodes, then 6 weeks of repeats. Don't get me wrong... I definitely don't mind the repeats, it's getting only 4-5 new shows that drives me nuts! The only draw back to the show is how they will weave new storylines, and/or make the storyline of the Others last, without the show getting slow and boring... I mean, if they answer all the questions, there won't be a Lost to watch!! ~shutters the thought~ And have any of you noticed that this one hour is the fastest darned hour of the entire week!?!?!?! Wish my work hours went that fast! lol
ConleyKE
Holy s*** that scene with the loud music/drug test/crazy video torture room freaked me out so badly. I'm glad the style is getting back to how it was in the beginning. Sorry, I don't watch the show so this is going to be hard to explain, but every morning I listen to a local radio station (102.3 the MAX) and they are obssesed with Lost. Anyways, today they played a segment from last wednesday of what I believe is the scene discribed above, where there was a bunch of screeming and mumbling very loudly. Then they played it in reverse, and there is a voice in that audio which when played backwards says something along the lines "only fools will survive on this isle" or something. I'm sorry that I can't remeber exactly what they said. Often times the radio station will put these kind of things up on their blog (i will link it below) but nothing is up yet. Again, I don't watch this show but thought I might mention this to those who watch it religiously. I don't know if this clue is of any significance but thought I'd share. I'll try and find the sound clip too. http://themaxfm.com/sectional.asp?id=6260 Kevin "No clue how they found that out" Conley
Wishmaster
My best guess, they found it since all of the gibberish in Lost is normal speech played backwards. I've just recorded the section into an editing program, reversed it, and here is the result: http://home.scarlet.be/~gj014022/wishmaster/Tsol.mp3 Thanks for pointing it out, BTW. txnhrt
Hm. Well, I listened to it, and although I heard some low mumbling sounds in a couple of spots, I couldn't/didn't hear anything that resembled normal speech. So, I didn't hear "only fools will survive on this isle". May try it again with earphones.... Interesting though. And who thinks to themselves... "Hey, that scene was WILD... wonder what it would sound like backwards!?!?" lol
obeygiant
To all concerned with what was said in that audio..it's.. ONLY FOOLS ARE ENSLAVED BY TIME AND SPACE I have NO IDEA what that could mean..My guess is there will be something revealed about the island and its relationship to time this season... ConleyKE
^^ ONLY FOOLS ARE ENSLAVED BY TIME AND SPACE Yes, that was it. Sorry I didn't have the exact words, for I heard it at like 6:30 in the morning while driving to school half asleep I knew it had something to do with fools. This show seems very odd and confusing. I guess you would've had to watch it from the start to understand it. Thanks for the audio!

krazekiddd
Hrmm.. I love the whole "the universe will correct itself" theme tonight. I wasn't expecting the whole prediction about Charlie, but eh, I don't know if I would exactly miss him either... He kinda got weird after the "I must baptize Clair's son" episode. SharkTums
Definitely a 'creepy' episode. A bit slow compared to all the action we've been used to lately, but that's okay from time to time.
