Photo TR: C3 at Carowinds

I went up to Carowinds with a few friends for the ACE C3 event this weekend, and I think we had a good time. However my battery forgot to charge itself so photos are limited.

Corey really liked the button. And that's where the camera dies... the end.

Rode this again too - still fun, as even the weakest Falling Star is an enjoyable ride

Here's a shocker... BORG broke in the morning (while some people wait in line, I got to ride the Flyers and Top Gun... haha)

I love Falling Stars...

 

If you ever want to ride an amazing Falling Star, go to Adventureland in Iowa. That Falling Star is run insanely... so much airtime that it's amazing.

Paramount toned it down because of its location, Its in Nick Central so little kids need toned down rides. What ticked me off Carowinds knew us ace members couldn't resist the flyers so they cut it to Cycle B, like 2 seconds maybe a few small snaps although it was so entertaining!.

Nice PTR! I had to miss PC this year to go to Dollywood instead. Top Gun and BORG are top knotch coasters, Drop Zone also packs a punch! Great pics and looks like you had alot of fun!

Yea, and the park has TWO of them!!! Kings Dominion also got one last year.

Jarvis & I were like messing with the fact that Acer's love to eat, ride rides then *looks over bench* Sleep! LOL!. This was one of the highlight moments of the day!

 

 

I just hope Jarvis and or Wes get around to posting a report, because My necklace had something on it that any TPR member would laugh thier butt off at, a "Donkey" pez dispencer!

 

 

Edit: Joseph , man the A cycle totally is so much better, it gives you like an extra maybe minute & 30 seconds to get a good snap rate going. Nothing beats Kneobels flyers though.

I don't remember ever getting more than a minute at full-speed in my three visits with the flyers in operation.

Carowinds is a nice park, plus Top Gun is one of the best inverted coasters in the country. It is true it does not have the best coaster collection around, but it still is a fun park.

The park actually is fairly boring. The only rides I care about there are the Flyers, Top Gun and Scooby dark ride. Everything else in the park is -meh- at best. Heck, when I went in April, Borg was already losing a lot of paint and showing it's "Stealth" colors.

 

However, it isn't boring because the coasters aren't that tall...

 

...Surprised to see anyone wearing a NC State football jersey. I'd be embarrased after losing to a better team in Akron and having my coach make 100% inaccurate slandering statements about the team he lost to. What a classless moron.

^ it looked to be fairly recent, I mean there was still a bunch of stuff in the building and lights were one and stuff.
