Erik Johnson Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 What no Aladdin? You need to get that one.
mcjaco Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 Dude, rock that Genesis out! My Colecovision is still the bomb diggity. You're all jealous.
Calaway Park Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 Dude, rock that Genesis out! My Colecovision is still the bomb diggity. You're all jealous. *Slaps, screams Intellevision and runs away.*
Masked_Maverick Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 I still have my SNES hooked up to my T.V. which I still play. One of my favorite game eras was the 16 bit era.
Hercules Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 Please, my Nintendo and Sega have been hooked up and running ever since I got them.
Angry_Gumball Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 It's time I go up into our attic and fish out the 2600 and the dozens of games we have...including the infamous ET game.
Masked_Maverick Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 ^ Infamous is right. Can we say: Worst Game ever? Although it is awesome that you still have a 2600.
Homer Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 You don't have Sonic The Hedgehog 2? You idiot, you left out the greatest Genesis game evar. I still own my 8-Bit NES from when I was 5, and it has the infamous "Pro Wrestling" game with the famous quote of mis-translation "A WINNER IS YOU!"
trustkill22 Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 We always talk about Sega at my work and do you ever remember the game that had like every Sega game on it. I remember it being the stuff than I also had Sega CD attachment.
rcoasters Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 I have a japanese NES, now can you beat that ? All my games are in japanese too !
mcjaco Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 We always talk about Sega at my work and do you ever remember the game that had like every Sega game on it. I remember it being the stuff than I also had Sega CD attachment. I had the 32X attachment. Top that craptastic add on.
Jew Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 You fail at life for not having Toe Jam and Earl.
Hercules Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 ^^ I have the 32X too. Biggest waste in the world. I had one game for it and didn't look anything different than the 16bit.
benzo41190 Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 I still have my Genesis hooked up to my TV too. But....holy sh!t "E.T." is the DUMBEST game ever!!! Has anyone ever even gotten out of the first part of the game....can you even play it??? And I cant believe that people paid $50 bucks for it! But nothing compares to the Sega Jaguar...which I still have!
DarkStitch626 Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 Dude Sega genesis use to be the biggest thing!.. Do you have an old regular Nintendo Ryan?
BarryH Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 I love Vectorman 1 & 2! I used to have a Genesis, but I had to sell it off. It sat around and collected dust for over a year. I never really played it. If you have an Atari 2600, see if you have Warlords. That is the coolest multiplayer game ever. Find 3 other drunk friends and it's the ultimate party game!
Hercules Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 Dude Sega genesis use to be the biggest thing!.. Do you have an old regular Nintendo Ryan? I have two with about 45 games if someone wants one. They actually work.
FlyingScooter Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 Mickey's Castle of Illusion was awesome! loved that game. Kid Chammelion (sp?) was another great game.
mcjaco Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 You fail at life for not having Toe Jam and Earl. I guess I pass. That game was one of my favorites.
thomas2 Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 Yay I just found my Sega Game Gear here back! Time to play Sonic
Hercules Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 Game Gear was the best. I think I have like 20 games for it. Those were some awesome graphics. It totally kicked Game Boy ass. I can't believe that there was something with color and good graphics back then. I tell my cousins about it and they just say "So?" because they have their Game Boy Advance and PSP. It was a big deal back then.
Masked_Maverick Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 ^ I agree that the Game Gear was awesome, however I think the death nell for the Game Gear was insanely short battery life. However I have always been a fan of Nintendo so my heart always went to the Gameboy.
Homer Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 Yes, the GG was a superior machine (I got one a few weeks ago as a hand-me down from a cousin with Sonic 2 Game Gear version (that game is the hardest Sonic ever)). However, like early handhelds, they whored up batteries by the minute and were huge as hell. The backlight especially sucked up precious energy. But why SEGA lost, even with their aggresive advertising and the popularity of Sonic? I dunno, price, Tetris, being first, something like that...
Angry_Gumball Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 I still got my Game Gear as well...yes, it had major suckage of batteries. At the time I bought it, I bought a set of rechargables so I don't keep draining batteries and spending more. I finally faced the fact that it wasn't quite as portable as intended as I just hooked it up to the power adapter both at home and one in the car. I don't think anything will ever top that old white/grey brick of a Gameboy though...Gotta love dull green/yellow screens, clunkiness, and 4 AA batteries, not to mention the ginormous add-ons like the Game Genie. Those were the days...
