goleafsgo Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 wasnt that the piece of track that started the whole aquatrax thing?
coasterlover420 Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 How would that hold lim's? If it had lims, wouldn't the track they're on only have 2 rails? (EX:Calif Screamin')
Jumboshrmp Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 wasnt that the piece of track that started the whole aquatrax thing? That looks like an LIM track or a brake run... without the fins.
CP_RULES Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 How would that hold lim's? If it had lims, wouldn't the track they're on only have 2 rails? (EX:Calif Screamin') Not exactly:
goleafsgo Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 that person in the front row on the left is a fatass.
jamesdillaman Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 that person in the front row on the left is a fatass. That's nice of you... Guess they'll make a bigger splash on the new aquatrax, won't they? -James Dillaman
pierced_b0i Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 Uhhh or it can be for something else...From what I can tell almost nothing is confirmed..except theres some inversions and a hill..o0o and its red with like cream colored supports
goleafsgo Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 cant someone just rent a plane and fly over the site so we can get a better idea of whats going on? All this speculating is making me tired.
Tank6585 Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 http://pointbuzz.com/Gallery.aspx?i=4920 This pic to be exact Could also be the brake section. Intamin has been using magnetic brake systems on all their new coasters, even wooden.
ECZenith Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 Those holes are clearly where the "weld rodents" will hide out to check the track seams overnight. BTW, welcome aboard Tank, and welcome to the horror of the CP '07 thread.
Tank6585 Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 lol thanks, i been following this post for a while and still baffled of what the coaster could be.
dawgs396 Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 What is this coaster? A launched, possibly dual launched Intamin thats gonna have a lotta inversions, and maybe a new train design. As I said, start the inversion counter, my guess is double digits (who knows how many inversions? thats really the only speculation we have left?!). What lift hill coaster do you know of that has been built without the lift coming first? plus no oversized supports? Use your heads you crazy people! Someone get that overhead view back and lets rework some possible layouts given what we know from track in place
Tank6585 Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 It will not be a dueling coaster, i dont see where anyone gets that from.
goleafsgo Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 its gnna be a 11 inversion lauched itamin with an aquatrax and a lift hill with a new train design and it is gnna go 100mph
Robbie Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 Yep Canadian Logic at it's finest Robbie"Dont worry, I knew he was joking"Milburn
jamesdillaman Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 Seriously, I'd be shocked if there were 11 inversions. Look at how big the inversions already up there are. Where are they going to cram the other 9? -James "Instead of an air-hill they'd have one there, for sure" Dillaman
goleafsgo Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 yeah, that is making me lean towards a wingwalker, seeing as just making it a luanched itamin with some inversions isnt really that big a deal.
Carnage Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 ^ Take a closer look at some of the clearance's on those supports. Especially in the corkscrew. Still leaning towards a wing walker?
goleafsgo Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 yes, because i am too lazy to find those pictures.
redunzelizer Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 that person in the front row on the left is a fatass. Some people have got fat in their legs. yes, because i am too lazy to find those pictures. Others have got it in their head!
RayOfLight Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 ^ Take a closer look at some of the clearance's on those supports. Especially in the corkscrew. Still leaning towards a wing walker? http://www.cedarpoint.com/_upload/inside_the_park/wallpaper/CP_Mystery2_800x600.jpg Look at the support that is the most far away on that picture. You can probably see that a very wide train would have no problem going by it. But if you look at the support in the middle, it looks like there is no way a wide train could be able to go by it without crashing! BUT, isn't the support exactly like the one behind? It's just a different angle
robbalvey Posted August 28, 2006 Author Posted August 28, 2006 It will not be a dueling coaster, i dont see where anyone gets that from. There was a rumor about a year ago that CP was going to get a "Dueling B&M Flyer." Think Dragons, but with a flyer instead. --Robb "If it was well themed, it could be a cool concept!" Alvey
BeemerBoy Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 ^^ They do look like the same supports. However, at the trax's connecting point at the support in the foreground, it appears to be angling inward towards the support, whereas, at the background support's connecting point, the trax seems flatter. Maybe it's just an optical illusion, but I'm leaning towards what Paul sees.
FeelTheFORCE Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 I think it could clear every support except the middle one on that picture. Unless its just from a weird angle.
