^ I'm sorry to hear that.

EDIT: Wait, no, it is the Carpet Capital of the World....so I guess you should consider yourself very fortunate.

Well, I do sleep on the floor in hotels...

That concept drawing must not exist since not one single picture or link to it has been posted here yet. Surely if it did exist it would be in the first post of the first page and in several other additional posts throughout this thread. But, I've yet to see it anwhere.

What are you talking about...its been posted many times.

Why do people keep saying it's an Aquatrax?!? Seriously, have you ny brains at all? Cedar Point wouldn't build a stupid water coaster, this is gonna be good!! I'm thinking something like Rita only longer with more inversions. It CAN'T be an aquatrax because 1. The track is RED, not white or blue! 2. There's no WATER. I'd bet eleventy-thousand-billion dollars that it isn't an aquatrax. All you aquatrax people will be sorry when they announce it in a couple days. You'll look so silly because you said it was an aquatrax. How could you be so stupid with an issue so important to our country right now. If it's an aquatrax, the terrorists win!

-James Dillaman

You also have to remember that "Aqua Trax" does NOT equal "water coaster." It's just a name for a ride system.

For example, Mystery Mine is VERY different from any of the other Euro Fighter installations.

SheiKra is very different from the other "Dive Machines."

If it's not an "Aqua Trax" or something VERY similar to that ride system I will be very surprised. I can't see this being your typical Intamin rocket coaster using typical rocket coaster trains.

Perhaps a hybrid between the two? Maybe. But it that's the case that it uses the smaller cars even if one or two of them are linked together it's still more similar to an Aqua Trax ride system than a rocket.

I know it's sort of late in the game for new theories, but has anyone ever thought that maybe the trains are like Vekoma Booster Bike but themed to horses?

Posted

^^ Funny as it is, I actually mentioned that theory jokingly, eons ago. However, this thread is out of control beyond belief, and I can't tell if you're serious, or you actually dug that up along the way.

Aren't the Aquatrax cars sort of like that anyway? I always thought the seats were supposed to simulate riding a jetski or something to that effect. And if that's the case, it'd be a piece of cake to theme to horses...I personally don't think it'll be an Aquatrax but just throwing my $.02 in.

I'm still thinking this could be a Wingwalker, there are some bits of evidence to suggest this..

Like:

- The way the supports, especially in the flat twisty turns, are certainly far away enough to accommodate the Wingwalker trains.

I was going to make another point but I forget it now..

Well it pretty much has to be a ball/wing/single/two car train at this point to navigate what's in place.

Although I'm still holding out for my giant chicken trains!

And Joe, I also thought it was way too early...but heck, I actually give CP credit for having this much done already! Is it possible it could be done BEFORE season starts, and possibly have some testing and bugs out of the way???? I mean I know that's not the way things have been done lately, but it sure would be nice to go back to that again!

So Colossus at Thorpe Park is an aqua trax.

I guess I'm not understanding. From what I am understanding is that there really is not such thing as an Aqua Trax. Colossus probably uses the same system Atlantis Adventure uses too. The only difference would be train size/style.

^Um, Atlantis Adventure and Colossus have very different ride systems, layouts, trains, etc.

You're right, you really are missing the point.

Um...no. Go do a little research on what an Aqua Trax is and what Colossus is and you'll see the difference (god, I would HOPE!)

As true as this is, I must admit that Patriot was finished up quite nicely with minimal bugs weeks before Media Day.

I second that vote for giant chicken trains, BTW.
