Rollerholden Posted July 22, 2006 Posted July 22, 2006 It is currently (3:14PM) 108 in Rohnert Park, CA, with either 20 or 30% humidity (sorry I forget which). But it feels SO hot!!! Well, our temperature thing in the backyard says 119 but weather.com says 108...either way it's burning!
BelizeIt Posted July 22, 2006 Posted July 22, 2006 ^Wow fellow a Rohnert Park resident! When I moved from the east coast to California, that was the first town I lived in. But, here in good old Orange County, CA it's a toasty 105 degrees!
What Now Posted July 22, 2006 Posted July 22, 2006 It got up to 114F at about 4 O'Clock today. A tad warm, even for the San Fernando Valley.
Jon Sabo Posted July 22, 2006 Posted July 22, 2006 I'll bring the hot dogs and marshmellows! Not too bad today in Hawaii. 89'F, but the tradewinds are gusting to about 18-25 mph.
obeygiant Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 Now it's hot AND humid in South Florida because of the rain...yay?
phazan Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 It was 111 around 6:00 PM (accuweather.com said so). So, I think the hottest it got today was about 114. I can't belive it is actually that hot outside!
RCTfan Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 It gets about 90 here in Orlando. That plus Humidity makes it even worse. Try performing a 35-minute parade in the heat. Ick. My shirts change colors, even my sweat, sweats!
Steffen_Dk Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 Today the max. temp. has been 28°C or 82,4F. And it's hot and nice
obeygiant Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 I think all of your worst nightmares just happened to me...my air conditioning BROKE!!! As you can imagine sumertime in South Florida w/ no a/c is HELL, so my mom, bro, and I checked into a hotel....my dad had to stay home with our dogs. It was broken for the whole week and at one time the temperature inside the house reached 90 degrees!!!!
Angry_Gumball Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 Our heatwave is over for now...we had a nice 75 F temperature today with some slight breezes.
ECZenith Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 It's about 90 degrees today here in RI, on Tuesday and Wednesday the "feel like" temperature is going to be 115*f , we may break the all-time high.

ScOtT k Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 upper 60s mid 70s today. HAHA! But there is humidity
Oni Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 99 with 90% humidity, which makes it "feel like" 119. ................^And that's what makes it a complete bitch to work outside. It would only be half a bitch if there was no humidity
CoasterExpert13 Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 it's 93 degrees now...really humid. Barely able to breathe outside
TheArchfiend Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 Boy, imagine people that worked in buildings all day in the Summer before air conditioners... SUCKED FOR THEM!!
