  1. Yes. It may be breakfast time, but damn that sounds good. Don't you wish you owned a Ferrari?
  2. I'm never been much of a Ford Mustang fan, but I gotta say I was mucho impressed when I caught my first glimpse of an '06 Saleen 'stang yesterday. I pulled up to the light next to one with the top down. I told the guy driving that I wanted to see what 450 horses were capable of. We both did a scan for 5-0, and then he was gone!! Just another reason I miss South Florida. I don't get to see that stuff very often in N.W. Georgia. Impressive.....most impressive. Also, ditto on the Jamba Juice thing.....mmmm.
  3. ^ That's not weird, it's just Florida.
  4. No, and still don't. Have you ever eaten at In'N Out Burgers?
  5. Favorite Places I've visited: San Diego - Perfect weather, great beaches, fish tacos, and In'N Out Burgers Martha's Vineyard : It's just hard to top island living like this....well, if you take out the harsh winters anyway. Islamorada, Florida Keys : And if you take away the boiling hot summers, then this is my ultimate place to live. I could easily wake up every day of the year, crank up the boat, load the dog onboard, go fishing half the day, come back home, filet the day's fresh catch and be perfectly satisfied. Places I most want to visit: Japan : I'm fascinated by asian culture and I love the architecture. Venice, Italy : Kinda speaks for itself. Moscow, Russia : the place has always fascinated me.

  7. Token Yankee: Oh, okay...I gotcha. That makes a little more sense to me now. I can agree with that. Sorry, didn't mean to jump on your case there.
  8. I'm not sure they've got the room to do it. I'm trying to picture it in my mind. If they even tried to, they'd have to cram it in, and that would only lead to a backup coming from the off ramp of the highway. Help me out on that one, Joe. And really, even if they did, nature would somehow find a way to still screw things up, ya know? As for the words exchanged.....I'd be willing to bet someone's momma may have figured prominantly in the shootout. Either that, or maybe it was just a staged protest for the lack of a Sally dark ride in the park?
  9. Actually sounds alot like the Intamin approach to me. I'm kidding though. Knoebels is actually my most anticipated park to visit, and I'm more anxious about the Flying Turns than Intamin Point '07 or BGE's new supposed dive machine.
  10. One quick question.....where was the Justice League when all of this was going down? So much for "heightened security." You'd think a park full of superheroes would be a bit safer.
  11. The new management inherited Tatsu. It was not their choice to build it.
  12. ^ What? Seriously, what? I'm sorry, but I really hope you were kidding about the bonus thing. Paying teenagers a "bonus" for actually doing the thing they were hired to do in the first place is, um......well, downright stupid.
  13. Hmmm, I guess this is final proof for me that Six Flags will always be "ghetto." Although many (yours truly included) noticed early on in the season (before school got out) that Six Flags had made some notable improvements, I now see that they will never escape true "ghettoness." Try as they will, Shapiro and company have the challenge of a lifetime if they truly believe they can transform all of their remaining properties to more of a "Disney-like" atmosphere. I applaud their efforts in cleaning the parks up, and trying to eliminate smoking as much as possible. Unfortunately, all of that will ultimately be for naught. The simple truth is that eliminating Mr. Six, throwing in a parade, and creating smoking areas will never rid the parks of the typical clientele that visit from mid June through late August. Does that comment seem harsh? Sure, but admit it........it's true. Six Flags will remain "ghetto" for many simple reasons. Location, price, and carnival atmosphere. It's no secret that most of the visitors to many of the Six Flags parks aren't about to pack up the family station wagon for a trip to Orlando. Why is that? Well, most of it's obvious, but a lot of it still has to do with the admission being cheap. Internet purchasing and/or a mulititude of local coupon options keeps the price reasonable. Finally, as long as you can pay $5 to spray a stream of water into a clown's mouth to win your trailer trash girlfriend a five foot tall stuffed animal (or a basketball to annoy every other guest in the park with), Six Flags will never truly eliminate the guests Shapiro wishes he could. Sorry, Mark. Valiant effort, but I've officially given up on your hope to transform a chain into "family friendly." In fact, I feel stupid for believing it may actually have been possible. Oh well.
  14. Thanks bro. I saw that CocoWalk pic, and it immediately brought to mind some fond memories of that place. It almost became tradition to crush some food at Rockets, wander around CocoWalk a bit, then party on South Beach until about 4 am. Ahhh, good times. Anyway, glad to hear you're enjoying your cruise! I'm anxious to see some more pics when you get the chance.
  15. Well, I guess this gives me an opportunity to selfishly sort of bump this old topic. Considering I finally got my first taste of flyers at Holiday World this year (yes, I know they're not the best example from what I've been told), and wasn't too impressed, Kick Boodie still reigns supreme for me. www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=24860&highlight=possibly+greatest
  16. Sounds as though you pretty much already did.
  17. House Treasure Hunters World Poker Tour Modern Marvels, and basically anything else on either the Travel, History, or Discovery Channel
  18. So let me get this straight. A song and/or album ceases to be enjoyable once a larger fanbase is established. Hmmm, interesting concept. I guess you should probably start writing and playing your own stuff at home....and only at home....locked away in the basement or something. That way no one will ever listen, and it will remain "good" forever. I'm just curious...if you don't listen to anything on the radio due to a "younger, often less intelligent fanbase," what do you listen to? I hope it's not classic rock, because then I'd have to stop listening to it due to 16year olds thinking it's cool. See my point? Scott "who's gotten old enough to realize if you like a song, then just friggin' like the song" B.
  19. This stuff is just flat out disgusting. I've said for years that anyone caught treating an animal this way deserves to have it done to them. There aren't many things in life that really get me fired up and actually willing to harm someone, but animal cruelty comes extremely close. Count me in on the PETA bandwagon.
  20. ^ Thanks. I guess it does work better with the "T" in there.
  21. Robb, I was looking up Gran Masserat on rcdb, but came up empty. You were the first one to mention it, so I'm curious what park it's at?
  22. "Rock Star" - N.E.R.D.
  23. Is there still a Johnny Rockets across from CocoWalk?
