  1. Either that or a death penalty discussion is bound to challenge the length of this thread.
  2. ^ And I used to.....so what does this all mean?
  3. Yes. I still love the simplistic "innocence" of the originals. Have you emailed Dan lately?
  4. What time of day will you be there? If it's during the day, I wouldn't worry about a crowd. It's the middle of July in South Florida, and that means it's Africa hot....which means it's the off-season for tourism, and that leads to minimal crowds, if any. If you go at night, it'll get somewhat busier, and your chances of marathoning become slim. But if it's in the daytime, I see no problem with riding as much as your heart desires.
  5. Don't worry, London still loves you though. Hey, they seem to name everything after you, right?
  6. Yes, but let's take it easy on BruceWayne though. I mean he's gotta find some other outlet since the high schools are out for the summer. I'm actually somewhat amazed it took over 70 pages before someone did mention it. Heck, it was starting to seem like a Star Trek convention or something in here. Restraints, zero-g's, 90 degrees, Dan avoiding water...oh wait, there's a cute redhead there too....ah, who cares....look, Intamin goodness!! Scott "who still thinks his wife is the hottest chick around" B.
  7. Coasterbill04, after the bashing you just took, I hope we haven't deterred you from posting anymore honest questions. Seriously, enjoy your trip to the states. Scott "stupid arrogant Americans" B.
  8. If God is love, and love is blind, does that mean Stevie Wonder is God?
  9. ^ Actually, give the guy a little credit. I mean, when was the last time any of us saw a frenchman actually attack something?
  10. Whew. Okay, I feel a little better now. Enjoy those drinks!
  11. ^ Easily my favorite as well, Soren. Looking forward to the pics.
  12. ^^^^ Um, Kumba, please do me a favor for the sake of my sanity. Get up out of your chair, step away from the computer, walk outside, take a deep breath, look around, try not to think about coasters for more than 15 seconds, and take in the beauty of where you live. Many of us would consider trading a vital organ to trade places with you, yet you just provided us with imformation that must've been dug out from the bottom of google's supercomputer in an attempt to guess the name of BGE's new dive machine. Wow. Unless, of course, you're sitting on the beach with your laptop....at which point I would be forced to cut you a little slack. Scott "I keed, I keed" B.
  13. ^ Now if they could just spell the name of their team correctly, they'd be set.
  14. ^^ GADV has four also. And yes, it's a good club to be a member of.
  15. First of all, who had both parties "believing" that everything was kosher with each separate plan? Was it Alton Towers, or did each party take it among themselves to assume everything would go as planned according to their own bookings? To me, it sounds as though it wasn't AT's fault for booking things the way they did, but they neglected to look deeper into the stipulations set forth by the muslims as it relates to the wedding party. It states that the muslims "believed" they had the park "almost" to themselves, and therefore drew up the stipulations. Well, if that's the case, then who were the people that would have comprised the "almost" factor? Was it the wedding party, if not a regular operating day full of "regular" park patrons? If so, then surely AT should have noticed the dilemma, and notified the wedding party immediately. But this is where all the information is not present, so it's hard to identify who's responsible for the miscommunication. It just seems as though the park understood the muslims' intentions, but couldn't put two and two together about the wedding guests visiting the park the very next day to celebrate. And if that's the case, then I fully understand the couple's gripe.
  16. You see this, and all of a sudden, medical experimentation on humans doesn't sound so bad afterall. Why test on animals when there's perfect human subjects right under our noses?
  17. ^^ Well I'm certainly looking forward to Carowinds' then, since Holiday World was my introduction to flyers, er, Flying Scooters. Scott "who still wishes all flyers fans had the opportunity to ride Kick Boodie" B.
  18. Great pics. I was completely unaware of these rides! And now I feel stupid for saying that out loud. Well, I've been on an alpine slide before, but I was clueless about the Mountain Coasters. So how smooth was it anyway? I too am anxious to see a pov in the future.
  19. That's a sugar glider. Correct?
  20. Nice report...I was wondering how long it would take for someone to post a TR about this aquarium. And I'm pretty sure it's the largest aquarium in the entire world now.
  21. Exactly what category does it fall into then?
  22. ^^ Okay, maybe it's just late and I read it all wrong. i did ask if I was wrong afterall.
  23. Two pages later......did anyone actually read this? I've got a great idea...why don't we just print this thread and mail it to Knoebels and Carowinds. Of course this may have no bearing whatsoever on flyer operations in the future, but I'm with Derek on this one.....can't we all just stay a little hush hush about something so valued to many enthusiasts? Scott "am I wrong?" B.
  24. Eh, who really cares about the game anymore, right? It was really all about the best of the "new old style" parks in the league! Scott "the Pirates may suck, but man what a park" B.
