  1. Again, nice pics, Soren. I'm not sure any pics could do that lobby justice. It's simply unreal!
  2. My close personal friend: Sorry...horrible pic.
  3. ^ That's a great point, and great idea. There couldn't be a better fit for it when you think of it that way. Nice job.
  4. "Tomorrow People" - Ziggy Marley & the Melody Makers
  5. This does look pretty cool. Complete with uncapped fiery oil well!?! Bring your own marshmallows. Plus, now we got Mercedes, Mini Cooper, Land Rover, and Mitsubishi (or so it would seem) sponsoring rides. I seriously hope a launched Ferrari Enzo-inspired coaster is next.
  6. Okay, now this thread's back to normal.
  7. Because they're smart. Comfortable, good looking, people-movers with excellent reliabilty that open on time (aside from weather related delays).......that's why Busch chose B&M. They haven't let 'em down yet, have they?
  8. ^ Oh, okay. Thanks for setting me straight on that. For a second I thought that the Alveys might actually be onto something there....you know, given their experience and all. Man that was stupid of me to follow their lead. What was I thinking?
  9. Um, yeah, did anyone happen to see the not-so-subtle mention of Aqua....Trax in the photo update?
  10. Save the Adventure!!!
  11. My apologies to synaesthetique then for the moron comment. Scott "um, I guess that answered my question then..I think" B.
  12. ^ If they'd ever break away from the whole "record breaker" thing, they could lose Disaster Transport and go with a nice GCI woodie. I'm sure most of us wouldn't mind that, right? There's plenty of possiblities out there, but yes, they'd have to break away from the current trend of coaster building to accomplish it. EDIT: Or a Balder clone? There, that oughta make the Intamin fans smile. Anyway, back on topic.....'07
  13. Same here, except it really doesn't hit me until midway through the cobra.
  14. This will certainly not be the last. As long as there's money and imagination, there'll be plenty of Intamins to amuse future generations for years to come.
  15. ^ Because God knows they don't need anything tacky looking at Graceland, right?
  16. I got to take a Mini Cooper S out for a spin. Granted, I got to drive one of the first 100 minis to hit the states back whenever that was....but it was in the crowded streets of Fort Lauderdale. This time I got to put one to the test on the empty winding mountain roads of North Georgia. Talk about a fun little car to drive! This definitely made me happy.
  17. Count me in. Memphis bar-b-q sounds pretty good to me.
  18. Just how many were in the "back of the bus club" anyway? It seems like I've seen everyone on the trip mention "BOTBC Forever!!" Did the back of the bus consist of every seat behind the driver? Scott "just curious" B.
  19. ^ There's an organization for everything though. PETA just fills the role for the animals (well, along with GreenPeace). It's early, so I can't think straight, but I'm sure there's plenty of organizations fighting for human rights as well...most just don't get the same attention as PETA, because animals are cuter and more lovable. ^^ And dude, chill with the whole hippies thing. If you haven't noticed, nobody's really laughing.
  20. Robb or Elissa, I've got a question for either of you. If any of these morons had just come to you previous to using your videos, and simply asked you guys for permission to use them in a non-profitable manner, would you have granted permission and given them your blessing? I'm gonna assume you wouldn't mind as long as credit was given to Theme Park Review, right?
  21. ^^ Is it just me, or was that promotional video kind of creepy in a sci-fi futuristic movie kinda way? Scott "people of the world, if you want this built, don't ever stop buying gasoline for your garage full of Hummers" B.
  22. Yeah, I've been hearing about this one for years now, as well. I think ever since Air debuted at Alton Towers, there's been mention of a themed flyer at IOA. Personally, I drool over the idea of a flyer with an intricate pterodactyl theme to it. It fits perfectly with the story, so why not, right? Oh well, I thought I had myself trained by now to forget about that possibility ever happening.
  23. ^ Well, first of all, you're right about the ops not being very enthused most times. Of course, if you had to sit there all day with only a handful of people riding, you'd probably not be in the best mood either, I guess. I'd just ask nicely. Even though they haven't always been the most outgoing ops I've encountered, they've also never had a problem with me taking pov's or marathoning when everything's empty. And oh yeah, while you're there, tell my baby I'll be back in October for a visit.....and I can't wait.
