Where was Melt? I heard it was by Planet Snoopy. I tried to find it yesterday. I was there too. I tried to find it on the map and was unsuccessful. Were they open and did you eat there??? -

I saw them from the train yesterday. Not sure if they're generators, but I'm not sure what they are. -
YEAH!!! That's awesome! Has Ninja been operating today? How crowded is the park? Any tips for a first timer? Well Tatsu is now operating - thanks to coasternut for posting - so that's great news on my end. In looking at the operating schedule it appears that SFMM is preparing to be open for spring break starting the weekend after you and I will be there... so hopefully that means low crowds for us. I won't be back at the park for another decade or more so am really looking forward to getting on as much as I can. I need to search this thread a little bit to see if I can find the recommended ride order for visiting the park! Yes, Ninja was operating today. Batman is back to 2 train operation finally. 2 1/2 parking lots were full today, with several buses of kids there too, so it was busy. This was especially true of the restaurants. With so many of them closed due to the renovation of the area for Justice League, the lines were huge all day.

Coastermania Tickets on sale now at their website. Get 'um while they're hot! I got mine. https://www.cedarpoint.com/play/events/coastermania -
When Apocalypse first opened, it was great! That continued for several years after. It was in my top 10 woodies. I used to be able to "marathon" the ride especially at the end of the day, since there wasn't any line. Now, I don't even ride it anymore. The pounding is just too much for me. I've said this before, inside both tunnels the ride is smooth. It's a shame. I just guess it's the the jinx of the Psyclone corner of the park.

I couldn't agree more, it kills the wait time and makes the line a complete clusterf*@k. I was really hoping SF would abandon VR on coasters after all the issues they had last year, but I was giving them too much credit. I'm in full agreement with both of you guys. I get guest surveys frequently, and I always bash the VR for dispatch times and empty rows. Sad to see it's coming back soon. I rode it Saturday 7 times with less than 2 minute dispatch times and no empty rows. Also as a 6 Flags stock holder this is costing a fortune for ride ops!

I tell you one park that has great food - Knobels. I love their Polish Platter. It's the perfect pair - Phoenix & their Polish Platter. -
^ It has to do with the propulsion system. After a rain, it may be several days before it opens. It has nothing to do with the maintenance currently going on Lex. Also from what I've heard the Rev VR is going away on the 3rd which is Tuesday. We'll see. It can't go fast enough as far as I'm concerned...

I was at the park today, and much to my surprise it wasn't too crowded. Maybe that Sky-cabin incident the other day kept people away. I'm still appalled at their ride operations. The ride-ops on every ride were in slow motion. I spent most of my time at Xcelerator, and they were pitiful! Someone needs to teach them about customer service... Good thing the lines were short.

The park was slammed yesterday - Friday. I left at 1:30 with 3 of my favorites down - Lex, Scream, Riddler. I came back in the evening and Scream and Riddler were running again. It took over 30 minutes to get dinner at 7pm at Chop Six. Pouring this morning. Not sure if and when the park may open. I don't want to get drenched...

^^^ Not sure what the cutoff number is. Yes, the lot fills up fast, and that's how I judge how busy it will be once everyone gets into the park. I have asked the question - what is a normal day attendance? The answer I've received was around 15,000. I'm sure today will be very busy since it's the last day of nice dry warm weather.
