Twisted Colossus is now open. It could not have been a broken lift chain. The moose was lying!

Just to let you know. Those planning to go to Magic Mountain and ride Twisted Colossus, you'll be disappointed. This is from some inside information. One of the lift chains snapped recently. I'm sure these are custom made, so it will be closed for sometime - sadly. Also there is a sign at the entrance saying it's closed.

Thanks John. I did see the website posting from the park. I've been hearing it's getting close to opening. When I check it out on "ride times" all it says is open. For the other major parks I go to this site the times have been accurate. Normally if it's open, there would be a time. I was just looking for someone that has been there or a local...

^ This year I"m not even considering visiting the park. Just too much lost (never been a fan of KK either). Other parks in the area have more for me. I'd like to ride Flash, but it can wait. I'm a little worried you said El Toro was rough. I've read it was better, but maybe it didn't last long. Used to be my #1 woodie for many years. I'd love to marathon it. I don't even bother riding it anymore. I'm hoping for the best for the future of this park. I do miss "what it was."

Very unusual quick sell out. It normally takes days if not week for this to happen. It was only a few hours. I haven't been in many years, but seriously considered it mostly because Siren's Curse. I'm still very pessimistic about TT2. I've never been on it.

I disagree. I will miss 2 rides - Zumanjaro and the Sky Ride. The sky ride was very long and relaxing when it was running. I love drop rides too.

A friend of my just texted me because he heard on the local news that Kingda Ka is shutting down. You know how reliable local news sources are. I do think it's a done deal myself

You're forgetting Xcelerator & Storm Runner. I prefer them both over Ka.

TT2 is now the new coaster for 2025 at Cedar Point. The park announced this today. Tony Clark was right with his statement "this is not an all summer thing." It's an all year thing. They need to rename the ride 6 Day Dragster - SDD, https://www.cedarpoint.com/top-thrill-2-update

I do love Hershey Park. I'm also disappointed that they installed a camera on Comet. More importantly, there are new trim brakes to slow down for the picture. This ruins the entire pacing of the ride after that! I've ridden it the past 2 days and it's definitely ruined the ride. That's so sad...

I've been at Kings Island for the past several days. Just a great total experience as expected! One thing I had to share, today was at the Trailblazer X-Treme show. Just a well preformed show and highly recommend it. During the show one of the songs they played is the Mr. Six / Venga Boys "We like to party" song. I was waiting for Mr. Six to pop out. You know he's coming back soon for the fright fest events. See the combination of these 2 corporations has started already...

I had to edit my response to this. I just read the press release and it's happening July 1, and the combined company will be official July 2. That's next week. I'm amazed it's going to happen...
