  1. 8,000 ft. floorless wooden coaster with an under water launch through the Gobbler Gteaway, a 700 ft. Pretzel knot suspended in mid air over Splashin' Safari, a 7 inch heartline roll over the Hollowswings, and 8, 583 dagree banked turns! The ride will be purple, and called Valentine's Day Bench: THE RIDE. It will open in 3095, and with have an hourly capacity of 2.
  2. I always liked the murrels. I guess it's good that they've been updated. It's strange that they skipped X and Vu, and went strait to Scream and Tatsu. I sorta miss the Psyclone and Flashback murrels; They were better than the rides themselves. Does anyone even remeber what they looked like? 3. It was outrageously beautiful. Atlantis is the largest Water-Based attraction in the World! They just recently opened up the "Power Tower", which contains 4 slides, as well as a surrounding action lazy river that's over a mile long! The aquariums were OUT OF THIS WORLD. They have the largest stingray in captivity, with a wing span of over 20 ft.!!!! The shark tanks around the LoF and Surpent slides had gourgeous spectation lounges above, around, inside it! They also have an exibit of prehistoric creatures, like ancient rock lobsters, trilobites, and morey eels! And of course, just about every species of tropical marine fish known to man. There were several natura, fresh-water swiming pools, and multiple beaches on and around the resort. On of them is part of a marina, which comes up to just outside the hotel! And an amazing over view. A model of the resort One of the two lazy rivers Paradise Island from the Carribean Sea Here's the main towers
  4. The Leap of Fatih and Surpent Slides were outstanding. I did the Atlantis Resort Waterpark a few years back. There were racing body slides (Challenger slides) on one side of the Mayan Temple, and the Leap of Faith on the other. The Surpent Slide Goes inside of the Temple, and then out next to the Leap of Faith. LoF and Surpent slides go through a massive marine tank, with sharks, rays, and more. There were also several other smaller body slides that wound through the lush, jungle landscape. There were several pools, jacuzzis, and a huge lazy river! The entire resort was beyond all comprehension, but the slides were the best part. Because the Leap of Faith Goes into a pool, instead of a trough, there are no wedgies to be had! Leap of Faith, Going down the side of the Temple untitled.bmp The Challenger slideds were good, but paled in comparison the the Lof and Surpent slides! The end of the Surpent Slide features a lazy river-like float through the Shark Tank!
  5. Oh, I see. So they're just pitiful liars who want nothing more that our attention through outrageously shocking statements. Sounds like someone from the "in" crowd...
  6. I rode the Matterhorn at Disneyland when I was 2 years old, durring the summer of 1993.
  7. NOTE: I did a search for this topic but nothing came up. I apologize if this has been done before. At TPR, we all love rollercoasters, but not for the same lkength of time. Some of us are older than others. Some started riding at an earlier age than others. I want to know how old everyone was when they rod their first coaster, to see just how long some of us have been riding. Submit the age you were on the poll, and then post what year it was, and what coaster you were on. This should be inetesting.
  8. Very Nice! I didn't know that SFOT's El Hat was still open *chough*GreatAdventure*cough*
  9. Whoot! C'mon SF, give me a reason to go back to Magic Mountain!
  10. Oh man. This just awful. I can't belive there's already been five deaths at my former home park. It seems like just yesterday a man was kicked in the head by a Top Gun rider...
  11. Nebraska makes Iraq look like the coaster capitol of the world!
  12. I'm going to the Boardwalk in a month for their 100th anniversary. My parents met there as ride ops when they were 19. They've been together ever since. My dad ran the Spider, and my mom ran the Scrambler. They would take breaks together and eat lunch under the Giant Dipper. After their wedding in 1984, they went to the Boardwalk for corn dogs following their reception!
  13. I'd say Crush, because its newer, and less people (besides yourself) would be able to call it their 100th coaster.
  14. The red and white Patriot Plunge slides at Dorney's Wild Water Kingdom produce some WICKED airtime!. Especially the red, with its double-dip Photo curtesy of dorneypark.com.
  15. I did the 100 question one, and got 76/100!
  16. Six Flags Magic Mountain durring 1986, and Six Flags Great Adventure durring 1999.
  17. *Takes a gander at Stealth* ^Well put! *Stops at TusenFryd and Liseberg on the way*
  18. X @ MM! Pink and Yellow!?! What the f*** were they thinking!?!
  19. Me and a friend of mine rode Montezooma's Revenge. He does NOT like roller coasters, but through my brilliant persuasion powers, I got him to ride. He didn't understand the whole "launch" thing yet, so once we were out of the station, he was screaming out of traumatizing fear. I had my hands up the whole time, while he tried to curl up to the side, and close his eyes. As soon as he got off, he had a very pissed look on his face, but instead of yelling at me, he just said, "How the HELL do you ride these things. I'm never doing it again."
  20. This is the humble begining of www.themeresortreview.com ^ Page name hasn't been taken yet--you could totaly do it, Soren!
  21. I stayed at the Swan Dolphin durring the summer of 99'. A true 5-star resort, with instant access to MGM and Epcot. We also snuck into the Boarwalk pool to check out that waterslide. Its totaly awsome. OMFGFLIP-FLAPMODEL!
  22. Dueling Dragons blueprints?! Boy, what I wouldn't do to get those! I'd love to see them!
  23. I'm happy to see that SFStL is a nice park. I alway thought of it as discouraged and run-down. I heard bad things about Screamin' Eagle, horrable things about Ninja (which, if it's anything like SFOG's, is totaly justified), and moderately-bad things about the Boss. If I were to go there before reading this TR, I would have only been looking forward to Batman, Mr. Freeze, S:TOP, and Excalibur. Also, I noticed the wonderful themeing on the River King Mine Train. Did anyone else notice the mini mine cars near the top of the picture? Now I can add this park to my extremely-long list of parks I need to visit! Thank you!
  24. How did you manage to fit a souvineer cup in your pocket?!
