Attention CP Fanboys!

No prob. I'm guessing that the only reson that you can't have loose objects with you on MF/TTD is beause of the duel stations. Therefore, I can't imagine why you couldn't bring loose objects along with you, whilst in line for Maverick. There doesn't seem to be any lockers near Maverick anyway. -

During my summer of 2003 trip to CP, I purchased a "Wicked Twister" souvineer cup that I took with me on every ride line except Millennium Force. We decided that putting everything in a locker before our morning ride on MF would just be easier. For the rest of the day, though, we offloaded all of our small, loose objects (cup included) into the bins at all of the ride's stations. We had no problems what-so-ever. We did not ride TTD, so, I'm not sure about that one. I belive that the MF lockers had an up-charge of $1.00 per hour. -

It also caught sunglasses, loose change, wallets, etc. from the falling riders, so that no one would get impaled by a loose objects. They've probably actually started enforcing the whole "no loose objects" policy on that ride, or something. -

By jackhammering, do you mean Ghostrider Jackhammering, or SOB jackhammering? -

Yeah, because accidents like this always mean certain doom for the park Well, I mean, KK isn't closing, or anything, but less people are going to want to go there, which means that there may be more people who would rather go to BB. -

1. Girl has both feet severed from a popped cable, but survives. 2. Boy falls 200-feet to the concrete path below and dies. I don't know if I could compare both. The Great America incident was a lot worse. I mean, his own mother saw him fall from the top of the tower and splatter on the midway! I know their different. It just brings back bad memories. -

On the bright side, Beech Bend will benefit from Kentucky Kingdom's misfortune. -

The removal of Steel Venom and X-Flight seemed a bit harsh. Maybe, if they had done it over time, it wouldn't have been such a difficult blow on the park. All 3 of the woodies look like fun. Too bad that's not the case. However, I'm happy to se that the vekomas are kind, and that Dominator is running well. -

This is so traumatic. How devastating for that poor girl and all of the park goers! This will most likely send a shockwave of temporary closures for 2nd gen drop rides, or at least, the ones in the SF chain. It's like the PGA Drop Zone tragedy all over again. -
Photo TR: Matt goes to Dorney Park...
Axman replied to mateony's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I really loved Dorney, but they really need to tear some of their concrete and place more trees, but then again, thats waht we all think. Talon a Steel Force were outstanding, but the trims on SF are a bit strong. Hydra is an aquired taste. I liked it better than Medusa@SFDK for several reasons; 1) Not in a parking lot. 2) Unique inversions as apposed to cookie-cutters 3) No block break 4) No pre drop. All of the inversions were great, including the dive loop after the lift. The jojo-roll-on-ride-photo was inspired. Granted, the ride is not very intense or forcefull, but its extremely enjoyable in the very back. Best airtime in the park off the first lift in the back. Lazer is a diamond in the rough. Extremely forcefull loops and helixes, which put virtually every Arrow to shame. I missed out on Thunderhwak because of maintnence, but there were several other rides that stood out, such as Revolution, Hang Time, Thunder Canyon, Thunder Creek Mountain, and Screamin' Swing. Over all, a wonderfull CF experience. -

Indiana Beach looks great. I'm going to have to make an effort to go there. Theye are REALLY hurting for competition against Holiday World. They've been building woodies left and right. Kudos to IB for keeping its head above water. -

Wow. Well said. I haven't managed to rape SFGAm of its credits yet, but someday I will, and on that day, I will say what you are saying now. Umm........Ninja at SFOG. F*** YOU!!!!!! Looping (Death)Star at Beech Bend Flashback at SFMM. Viper at SFMM as of 6 years ago... Psyclone--I wouldn't if I could. Yeah, look at my last three enteries, and then look at my quote. It explains a lot. -
Because people get robbed every day. It's not national news. Yes but not necessarily at gunpoint, and definitely not at WDW. Why haven't I heard of this on Fox yet?

Sorry, multiple typos. Sarcasm is what I mean. Scarcasm is apparently a mosh-up genera of music. Never mind this all. Lets move on to the actual topic, but first: Rob- Could you consider getting a spell checker that actually knows how to fix words? I mix up one letter of one word, and it's totally clueless. Not to be pushy, or anything, but this whole "scarcasm" thing could have been avoided if there was only a descent spell checker on the site. I tried googleing the correct spelling for "sarcasm", and "scarcasm was the first thing that came up. I fugered the C was silent (like in scientist), and went ahead and pasted it into my reply. I rode only the BTTF at Universal Orlando, and after having ridden it a year and a half ago, both my dad and I (and the park faculty, for that matter) knew that its days were numbered. It was jerky, outdated, and somewhat unpleasent. The old people sitting next to us liked it, though.

What's your favorite Flat ride?
Axman replied to FlyingScooter's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ I rode a sky coaster at King's Island, and was impressed, but not moreso than I was with Delirium. Screamin' Swing provides airtime that is unlike any other. It's simply wicked.
