  1. Is that middle one supposed to be the "Michael Jackson Adventure" Vekoma Mine Train coaster?
  2. I'm putting my money on a Euro-Fiughter, and have almost completely ruled out Intamin, unless it's an Aquatrax. In the past, Hershy's been good about building coasters that are unique of anything else in the park. Some parks have several rides that could potentialy be grouped into the same category. Hershypark just isn't that way, unless Wildcat and Lightning Racers are considered too much like one another. Just about any Intamin launch coaster would just be too much like Storm Runner, and would rival its uniqueness. Not only are Euro-Fighters compact enough to fit in the proposed location, and could easily match the rough blueprint, but they've proven to be quite a good ride, with the reviews I've read on Speed and Mystery Mine. Hershypark has a history of unveiling coasters that are bound to be unique and fun; this should be no exception.
  3. When ever I press down my mouse scroll wheel, while scrolling up or down, everything that moves is instantly paused. I made the picture window small enough to be able to scroll, and then pause the clip at a flash that show's a ride concept up-side-down. I looks wild. There's a tower.
  4. I betcha they're building it where the "Western Chute Out" slides are. With the Boardwalk, Hersheypark has no need for wet/dry slides.
  5. It just came out in the US, yes. It's been available in the UK since 1993, though. And yes, the ride was named for the product (for a price, of course). Electerik Sage of Soda Oh, OK. It makes enough sense. You know, they have Dr. Pepper Zero out there, too? I'm jealous
  6. Whootness! Hydra Trains are awsome! I'm shopping for a CD set as we speak...
  7. I think Pepsi Max came out this year, to compete with Coke Zero.
  8. This is uncany. Pepsi Max Big One opened in 94, and the ride now has its on Pepsi!
  9. I had a dream about Big Bad Wolf lasst night. I think its a sign...
  10. An other Vertigo, from my favorite band!
  11. I was reading on their website, and apparently, the company is composed of engineers that left other companies. I'm willing to bet that at least one of them came from B&M, one from Intamin, or/and one from Vekoma. A lot of these designs are inspiring, but the realism of these desings might set in, in a bad way.
  12. I almost forgot! Thier most inovative desing is a coaster with train where you can sit, stand up, or lie down!
  13. I was checking out the new rides for 2008, and I discovered this. Apparently, Ride Tek is the mastermind behind some wild new coaster creations. Some of there designs include: And a shuttle coaster powered by a swinging counterweight!! An inverted shuttle boomerang/immelman coaster. A wild tower lauch-style coaster featureing a scale rocket model.
  14. This is fun! Name this coaster! Must love X-Men!
  15. That's true. I wouldn't be suprized is something along those lines replace Hurricane over time. I could actually forsee the log flume leaving in the next 10 years. The park's temp rarely ever rose above 90 dagrees when I lived there, and the whole "right-next-door-to-a-beach" quality of the Boardwalk should take care of ANY water ride craving. If Logger's Revenge ever did leave, a roller coaster would no doubt replace it.
  16. My Bad someone needs to make a wooden wacky worm then Might I suggest you should read the posting rules? I can barely understad your posts.
  17. The drop thing looks like fun! I seems to be a "Moser" Free-Fall on a larger scale. It's about time we got do-it-your-self zip lines at a park around here...
  18. I personaly loke the non-pre drop. Hydra's drop is GORGEOUS!
  19. Hydra's got some some back seat "ROFLAIRTIME" over the first first drop.
  20. I think the Boardwalk could do with a coaster, but not at the expense of most of their rides. They could do something big, just left of Tsunami, and build over the cliff and river mouth. There's a lot of empty space there, but I doubt that they have the proper zoning rights to build there. Plus the people in those houses on the other side of the river mouth would throw a sh!tfit! What would have been great, is if they bought Greezed Lightnin' from GA, and restored to "Tidal Wave" status. They could have had the station just behind cliffhanger, and the entrance next to the snack bar in front of Rock-O-Plane. It would shoot adjacent to to the Boardwalk; the loop would be near the Sky Glider station and the spike just behind the fried twinkie cart. Just a thought. I was never really sure about the Jet Star replacement, since its such a classic. But apparently, those individual cars got stuck a lot, and ride ops had to push them over. My dad's best friend had to do it all the time, by repelling to the top of on of the turns, and walking the car to the next drop!
  21. This park sounds like an eclectic mesh of Orlando and Hollywood. I'm very curious to see how Hulk turns out.
  22. When was your last trip? Those pepsi can nights ae crazy, but weeknights, like the tuesday I was there, was still relatively crowded, but everything had short, fast-moving lines. It could just been a well-staffed day. The Dipper ran one train from 11:00AM-12:00PM, but had two for the rest of the day.
  23. ^I wish there were more Boardwalks across the country. It's such a wonerful setting for an amusement park. I'm glad you liked my TR.
