Thunderlooper at Alton Towers

I am so looking forward to my visit to Europa Park this weekend! With a side order of expedition Geforce!!!

One of the best bathrooms at a park ive seen was on the scandi trip at Linnanmaki,Themed to a racing Car Pit Lane!

You know, a ride like Balder didn't really do anything unique, but it was a game changer in that when it was built (and it still is today, IMO), it was the best in it's class. That ride made people stop what they were doing, re-arrange travel plans, and go out and ride it. I don't understand this mentality that a ride needs a "gimmick" to be a game changer. I wish Alton would take this policy and just get awesome coasters built like they did with Nemesis!

Looks like Oakwood in April, Megafobia with a side visit to the Dr Who experience the next day!

Myself and rctneil were there today and queueing when the incident occurred, Neil said he heard it, I didn't but as photos have shown its quite clear,they have put in a new bolt but weren't happy with it so closed it for at least today. But as every cloud has a silver lining we got free fastpasses for the smiler for future use!

Exactly my sentiments although our second ride was a bit better as it had warmed up a bit, but Nemesis is still the best coaster in the park, having rode it before myself and rctneil left, it was just so intense and forceful compared to a rather forceless Smiler! But Alton have done a fantastic job with the whole theme of The Smiler, it does look fantastic.

I was going to put this Werner but you beat me to it! I think the phrase drowned rat is appropriate, that was some really heavy rain, i remember the pathways flooding up to 3-4 inches in a really short space of time maybe 5-10 minutes

Also the Qbots(speedy pass) VIP version is £17 online or the VIP plus £35(you must book online to get these prices),either of these options are really worth it if its a busy day.I used them last year on a really busy day and rode everything at least once with time to spare.

I do hope this is true and we get a fully working experience after the sub terra shambles and non working Thirteen effects! So i really don't mind a delay as long as everything works and is the proper full experience.

I went to look at the museum after the evening meal but it was closed,so this thread was awesome for me to see what was in there plus it's another reason to get back to Dollywood(not that I really need one!)
