This is Vader (Yes, he was named after Darth Vader). He's a Pug. He was the runt of the pack, and believe me... you can tell. He's not all there, but he sure is the cutest damn Pug I've ever seen! He's a special little guy. I have to confess though; he's not actually my dog. He's my roommates, but he might as well be mine too. If you live with roommates that have pets, you know what I mean. He needs a LOT of attention and contact. Not a bad thing, though. "I didn't do it."

I'm gonna have to go with the majority here and say Big Bad Wolf. Luckily, I was there and rode it a month before they announced its closure. That was a coaster I had wanted to ride ever since I was a kid after seeing it on some old VHS coaster videos that I had. I really enjoyed it! I'm also gonna go ahead and throw in White Water Landing at Cedar Point. I was pretty surprised and a bit sad when that came out. Don't get me wrong, Maverick is my favorite coaster in the park, but I still miss the hell out of WWL!

Mid America trip advice.
STR8FXXXINEDGE replied to thrillrider's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I was there in early August a couple years ago. I did Little A-merrick-A, Mt. Olympus, and Timber Falls all in the same day and still had time to drive to our hotel by the Mall of America in Bloomington, MN. That was riding all of the coasters one time, except for Hades and Avalanche/Hell Cat which I did multiple rides on. That was just banging out the coasters and moving on. -

^ I saw that. People are ridiculous! I never understood why you'd want to destroy the place where you live. -

So pumped that Boston won!!! They played one hell of a game. The only game of the series that the home team didn't win, and it was a shut out too! While the Red Wings are my number one, I still love Boston. Not to mention Tim Thomas lives like 30 minutes from me, so I'm hoping to get my hands on the Stanley Cup and a photo with it this year. -

^ Can't forget about Timber Falls Adventure Park in the Dells for Avalanche/HellCat. It's right down the street from Mt. Olympus. I don't think I've been on another coaster that has felt so out of control as that little thing! -

^ & ^^ This is from Cedar Points Blog. "But my favorite part is the music! The ride vehicle is fitted with speakers so the music goes with you as the ride lifts up the 301' tall tower. There is a playlist featuring many different songs from some of your favorite movies. Now the question is, who will be the first to ride enough times to hear all of the different songs?" Doesn't make sense to me, but whatever. -
Getting sick on coasters....why me?
STR8FXXXINEDGE replied to outbackjack's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I can't help you, but I just want to say that is one of my biggest fears. I used to be able to ride the spin-n-puke rides, now just thinking about riding them makes me sick. I couldn't imagine what a bummer it would be for that to happen to ANY coaster! I'm sorry it's happening to you. P.S. Could it be something with your equilibrium or vertigo? I think that stuff can be treated. -

Not sure how much of a credit whore you are, but you could hit up Little A-merrick-A in WI on your way up to the Dells, and you could hit up Como Town in MN. It's a shame that Celebration City is no longer. Ozark Wildcat was an amazing little coaster! -

Best Miniature Golf courses
STR8FXXXINEDGE replied to Rastuso's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
This is a GREAT idea! I absolutely LOVE playing. I try to track down as many places as I can find to take my Mom to. Can't forget about Pirate's Cove, which is in at least 14 different states. Then there's 2 of my favorite places in Wisconsin... Timber Falls Adventure Park, which also has the AMAZING Hell Cat! Pirate's Cove in the Dells which has 5 different course totaling 91 holes!!! There's also a few that are just down there street from me here in MI Kokomo's, which also has a coaster in Saginaw, MI Dutch Village Adventure Park in Bay City, MI Alpine Mountain Golf in Birch Run, MI Buoy 18 in Bay City, MI There's also a really nice one that has two 18 hole courses in Traverse City, MI that is just down the street from Pirate's Cove called Pebblebrook Fun Park. After digging for these and searching for a few others, I've got to say that I'm really surprised how many places out there don't have websites. Stupid business decision if you ask me. It's ridiculous how much searching and digging it takes just to get any info. Hopefully if this thread keeps up it will be at the top of the list when Googling Miniature Golf/Putt-Putt Golf Courses. EDIT: Just want to apologize for posting all of these that aren't crazy unique (Besides Pirate's Cove in the Dells. 91 holes??! Seems unique enough to me). I guess I got excited when I saw a potential place to list all Miniature Golf places. -
Hahaha... I saw this posted on Facebook today when I was at work and waited all day to come home and designate some time to read "Elissa's Really Detailed Review of The New Texas Giant". I was fooled! Anyway, I can't wait to get down there and ride this thing. I'm gonna try to hold off 'till they doctor up Rattler though.

This is great! It's more than a TR, it's like a story. You've got some beautiful photos here too! Thanks for taking the time to put all of this together. I know how time consuming these things can be, and I've never done anything even remotely close to what you have here. Looking forward to seeing what your excursion was!
