  1. At fright fest, I saw a mechanic, like, inside of the track. He was really in there working on something. But he was smoking too, so perhaps he was just hiding somewhere for a smoke! Nope...in fact, it doesn't even seem be provide even all little bit of relief for your legs! Lol...At least for me.
  2. Very beautiful Trip Report. Looks like a great park. Some of those photos with the fog are extremely beautiful!
  3. For some reason, it felt like one of those raps in Whose Line is it Anyway...lol.
  4. Me...I'll probably be working up to the deadline.
  5. SFMM--Goliath Knotts--Xcelerator DL--Space Mountain DCA--California Screamin', I would hope can beat a tamed mouse coaster.
  6. I am a fan of arrow, and, wait let me check... ...yup, still a man.
  7. Matterhorn Bobsleds (DL)- The first modern steel roller coaster, about 46 years old, and it can still kick some major ass! However, whenever people talk about the DL rides, they seem to leave this one out! Ninja (SFMM)- SFMM gets a lot of negativity...probably more than it does deserve. Ninja is a fine example of an amazing roller coaster that lacks recognition, because (1) it is only one in a park with almost "17" roller coasters, and (2) people have made such a game out of badmouthing SFMM, they fail to see the positives, such as Ninja. Viper (SFMM)- Is really a coaster you have to get used to, but if you ride in the back (ironically a smoother ride than in the front), you will feel some pretty juicy forces that you can only get out of a ride like Viper.
  8. Thank God I am sick today! Finally get a bit of free time to fart out a video.
  9. Ghostrider--While riding in the front has taught me to tolerate the ride, I never understood why it was so raved about. It does a good job at creating an "out of control" feeling, but I have never regarded that as an entirely good thing. Its because of a horrible bumpiness and underbanked, unconfortable turns. I don't think I have ever heard someone call Superman: The Escape amazing in the past 5 years...lol. But...I am going to reserve my steel coaster "I dont gets its" till the poll results are finished.
  10. We shouldn't do anything but give him to the Iraqis. ...its there deal, not ours.
  11. Looks like you had fun. California Screamin really is one of the best coasters in So Cal. Jahan "Some captions are coincidently similar to RCDB's" Makanvand ...oh...wait...we're not using smilies anymore in this thread. I forgot...sorry.
  12. Looks like you had fun, but were playing the "I cant let them think I enjoyed myself at Disneyland" role. Jahan "1 out of every 4 captions was questionably nearly identical to Robbs captions" Makanvand
  13. It goes down for a refurb next September. Hopefully the music will come back then... ...but who knows.
  14. Well...it seems that 1/2 the cost of this attraction is for the scaffolding! Theres so much of it!
  15. They actally argued on paid advertising space that "Disneyland is a nice place to visit"! Not like them anymore. The commercial beats the crap out of the "Xtreme Park" or "Playtime" thing.
  16. I am willing to bet that a lot of the people contributing to that hype are 1) simply glad to have it back again, 2) this is the only of the Space Mountains they have been on, and 3) the ride has been down for 3 years--a lot of us aren't as old as...some people here ( ) and dont quite remember the details of the old one. ...just guessing, as all 3 of those contribute to why Space Mountain is currently the coaster I most want to ride in SoCal. ...besides the fact that I have ridden every other coaster down here a million times, except for Space. I almost feel sorry for the castle after your guys's updates!
  17. When I was at Knotts last weekend, they whole restaurant that sits adjacent to the Kingdom of Dinosaurs ride was torn out, with construction walls around it. Dont know if it that was out there, and so I have to sit here and make myself feel like an asshole, before someone else trys to make me feel like an asshole. ....you know how it goes. Anyway...howabout they just extend Xcelerator a bit? Oh....wait....the one thing Knotts needs to do to improve their park: Take away the microphone that they gave the Silver Bullet crew!!! ...either that or shoot the crew. They are so God damn annoying!
  18. National Rifle Association. A bunch of people who 'fight' to 'protect' the 2nd amendment, or the right to own a gun.
  19. Excellent update! What is that big orange box next to the lift segment?: http://www.themeparkreview.com/sfmmnew06/sfmm1126054.jpg Is that the whole lift motor? Welp, I'll have to meet up with you guys one day.
  20. I just saw the Pirates of the Carribean II teaser trailer, and I am satisfied!
  21. Excellent pics! I soo wish I was back up there! Although, I could do without the snow! (Once a SoCal'ian, always a SoCal'ian!).
  22. Question: Everybody keeps talking about forces and how they dont want it to be like SB and all! Forgive my ignorance, but, are forces all that on a flyer? I mean, I can see why they matter other rides, but do forces really enhance a ride, when you are on your stomach, as 95% of this ride takes place on your stomach. Because, really, except for the pretzle loop, I cant see that many "forces" on this ride.
  23. I shouldn't make a large, generic statement, but pretty much all stand ups aren't worth a long wait. Theres nothing like sitting in a train after a long wait--you dont get that with standups.
  24. I rode Manhatten Express in like, 1999, and I dont remember it being bad at all!
