  1. September, '06. Gives you enough time to sell that arm, and rent out that leg, to afford one ticket, and celebrate the magic of the 50th.
  2. Well, with summer over, I hear a lot of their employees obviously just left, and they are understaffed. I mean, its September, and they are still advertising employment opportunities! However, this isn't consistant behavoir for them...I agree, its very strange.
  3. Correct. What day were the pictures taken? Friday they were open, only because SFMM was hosting their equivalent of Gay Day. I know some of their employees were trying to weasle their way out of working.
  4. It may possibly open Memorial Day weekend. Since I believe this upcoming Memorial Day weekend is SFMM's 35th anniversary, if they had an ounce of charm in them, they would open it up on that day.
  5. *Drools* "Mmmm....Everest" I cant wait for someone to pay to get me out there.
  6. While that is a probable spot for a station, we dont know anything. I mean, goliaths line is 700 ft long, without switchbacks! Just because we saw queue markers there, doesn't mean thats directly the spot.
  7. A have a ton of friends that work at SFMM...I have gotten rerides on Goliath and Deja through them...very nice, eh?
  8. No one knows. Well, I guess I wont go tuesday, as not much will have changed from this update. So, you guys can probably expect to see my next update in 2 weeks. ...you know...since they are better and all. ...I love you guys.
  9. Rebar stacks have shown up for the footers, and are already lying around the mountain. Lots of more supports have arrived too. I should be going to SFMM on Tuesday for an update, because its open for the Jewish holiday....and c'mon...If I were Jewish, I wouldn't be spending my day at SFMM! Emptyness!
  10. Please dont tell me this has been done before...it was kinda obvious, so I went for it.
  11. ^^ Pretty much agree there. I went in early June, and on July 17th. I hope to go back this December for the winter festivities.
  12. I hate the Freefall that we have. You should hear that thing: "Clunck! Chhhh! .................Khaa! Shhhhhhhh...Chooovvvhhhh. Ddggg! Ddggg! Ddggg! Ddggg! Ddggg!!!! Baaamm! Feels like its gonna fall apart any minute now.
  13. Well, since I dont think construction occurrs on the weekend, and I took my update shots in the afternoon today, I think my update will have to do. I have just finished it, and you can view my 9/23/05 update HERE...THATS RIGHT...RIGHT HERE!.
  14. My super sexy construction update will be up in a bit. Revolution closure, SFMM lock problems, tubular lift (possibly) supports, and a new pieces of track...stay tuned for more, after these messages!
  15. Are those mouse-hand gloves they are wearing? Hell no, they are boxing gloves! Fight, fight, fight! Well, I personally think that Disney's statement is very well worded.
  16. Lol...very true. Well, I find it to be less annoying than 'Scream!', so we're good over here ! Also, unlike names like 'Scream!', 'X', or 'Dejavu', which are completely detached from the tangible, me may hopefully be seeing an actual consistancy in the theme...that thats a bigger assumption than the name! BTW...I am going tomorrow to do some filming, and because the Halleuja Jubillee is the only excuse I can get some Christain friends of mine to go to SFMM these days, so expect an update tomorrow night, or Saturday.
  17. Ok...my story...lol. I had told everybody that I wasn't going to go because my friend had some stupid SAT practice thing. I was bummed out. At 1:45 PM on Saturday, my friend called and said, "Uh...I can go if you still want too." Damn! I wasn't ready or anything. So, I got dressed, grabbed a backpack and souvineer cup, and was out the door by 2:00 PM. Got there at 2:13, and made our way back to Goliath. It was shut down...so Im thinking, welp, there went my chance. I wont be seeing anybody. Luckily, I believe that I saw Gregg (three cheers for photo trip reports, eh?) walking into the swings, and I made my way up, and found Robb at the front of the line. I wasn't aware there was a photo scavenger hunt. I could have aced that baby! I couldn't go to the party, because, unaware that I would even be going to the meet, I had procrastinated on my homework, and needed to get home and jump on that. Sorry guys! Perhaps next time. All and all, thanks for the meet. It was very cool to see all of you, and talk to people that knew what they were talking about...you know, generally meet. -Jahan
  18. Thats because they are conducting a marketing campaign for fright fest. They dont need to attract attention to the new ride until the offseason, when nobody thinks about SFMM.
  19. Not at Disney. 1) A REAL theme is when you contribute EVERY aspect of the park to a story, mood, and theme. Disney doesn't just make a ride, and then plop some scenery around it. They ensure that every aspect of the ride itself (not the scenery) is integrated into the over all feel of the story. 2) Budget.
  20. That made me happy. Well, looks like you had a great time! I cant wait to get out there some day. *sigh*
  21. Nothing really new, except for a set of new I-beam supports. ...at least of what I saw.
  22. Yea...and I cant make it, for my friend has a stupid SAT workshop! Make sure you dont give up on the SFMM meets! We can always use another, and soon! -Jahan
  23. Yea...I've seen that before...definitely funny!
  24. For me, its not so much that the hill is bad, but rather the inconvienence of a one way path just sucks. I would prefer some sort of access from the front of the park.
  25. You can finish all of DCA from 10AM-12PM...in 2 hours. With Screamin' down, its bound to hurt the park somewhat. I mean, the tortillia factory can only serve you so many thrills in one day!
