  1. Yea...those look like rides I would sit out for! Looks like you're havin a good time though. P.S. ...question...does Vegas get earthquakes?
  2. That can't be--that loop isn't that intense! I was at Knotts the day before, on the 21st, and had a day very similar to yours. I even rode Ghostrider twice, and found it much more enjoyable than my other ride (which was in the back seat of the silver car). Sounds like you had great fun! P.S. The back seat on Xcelerator is the way to go!
  3. I just love how the guys screamin his head off. P.S....I am the guy in the middle of your avatar, looking the other way! How weird is that!
  4. Very nice and fun video! My only advice would be to put yourself in it more! Personalize it!
  5. I just saw Harry Potter 4 myself, and while it was incredibly well made, it seemed rather rushed.
  6. Very cool...I'll have to look into that. Thanks. I happened to get the HM book for Christmas last year, so it looks like I'll be asking for the POTC one this Christmas!
  7. Lol...I just had this vision of Mr. Lincoln providing the service. Great Weddings with Mr. Lincoln. Anyway, Im too young to be thinking about this, so I guess my posts are irrelevant, and should be deleted.
  8. This is Mission: Space that we are talking about! Lol. I believe I read that 8.5 million people have been on this thing since I opened...so far, only a few have gone to the hospital...that really isn't that bad. And so far, as stated above, there is no evidence that the ride had caused the death. Although height restrictions are traditionally set based on compatibility with the restraint, I am willing to bet that Disney has already considered age as a safety factor....after all, they are the ones that get sued...they'll want to consider every scenario. BTW...NOW that the ride is out of question, the Disney Medics are being questioned. From the Orlando Sentinal (11/15/05): ...and just when you thought it was over with!
  9. I could never drive over a 24 mile bridge....lol. ...and thats not because Im lazy and havn't yet gotten my lisence!
  10. Holy crap...I completely forgot about this... ...can minors go?! I recently found out I cant plan my own senior trip because i'll only be 17. But I have a thousand bucks in the bank, wanting to go somewhere with me.
  11. ^ We have been able to tell in our comps. It is quite easy to suspect who has done it....you just have to search and search their track, to bust them. Besides...3-6 feet, or 30 ft, if the segments are only a .2 ft difference in length, you know something is messed up there. It really isn't fair to the individuals who actually put in hard work, if someone who is smart at math and can punch numbers wins, even though they are a crappy NL builder. This is a NO LIMITS Competition...not a AHG, Elementary, Purg, or Track smoother competition.
  12. *Cough* California Adventure *Cough* Well, if they are paying customers, they deserve it to not be a boring expirence...regardless of how long they have been on it. No matter what they cosmetically change, I want them to fix the problem of boats stacking at the base of the lift!!!
  13. Thanks man...nice shots. BTW...those yellow things that flip the trains into position are now lying underneath X.
  14. ^ Not to detract from the Alveys, but you would have to be heartless to not sympathize with anyone transfered to parking lot duty.
  15. Do a NL one! ...but dont allow any outside software!
  16. I am somewhat torn. I love Pirates. It probably has to most in-depth story, ever told in a ride fashion. And of course, its a classic, an icon, and still very popular. But more and more, I am hearing from people that they dont care for it...they find it boring. And Im not hearing this from teenagers. Im hearing it from the adults, who have been riding this thing for the almost 38-39 some odd years its been operating. It needs a change...it needs an update. I dont quite know if this is the way to go about it, but we will have to wait and see. Hoestly...I dont think this is the way it would happen, but, in response to the arguement of this being "Walts last", I think he would want it changed too.
  17. Saturday. Just because a bunch of schoolkids are out doesn't mean they can drive to SFMM . Saturday is the day the adults are off, as well as the adults who bring the children!
  18. ...because they probably arent doing it because its bumpy...its been bumpy for years now. They are probably doing it for some maintenence reason, provided that they are.
  19. 1) I dont know if thats true. 2) That doesn't mean they are doing the whole thing.
  20. That update is probably from last weekend. And I believe psyclone is getting some re-tracking done.
  21. SFMM cant live off of its coasters alone, Xtreme or not. If you want to make money, shoot for the families...teenagers can only take you so far, so shoot for the families. Where are the parents gonna go when they are waiting for their kids? The places where they can find peace and quiet.
  22. Lol...took a re-read, but very clever. I personally have never had a good expirence with a Mummy ride op. ...I have only been on it once, but regardless...never!
  23. Hey...for the topics sake...I was thinking... This coaster is surrounded with pathways on all sides. It will obviously flirt with the tranquil opening plaza area. This coaster will really be in one of the nicer areas of the park. Now, with an orange like that, we all know this coaster will be visually loud. But its also gonna make a hell of a racket! The roar of Riddlers, Scream, and Batman are all in sort of pathway-peninsulas, where those wishing to find peace can simply leave. But the way this coaster is located, its really deafening the nice, social areas of the park. So...do you think that SFMM put in the effort to silence this coaster? Like how Silver Bullet is.
  24. Space Mountain, Test Track, Rock N Roller Coaster, Primeval Whirl, Big Thunder Mountain. All examples of where there are several different cars on the track that many times cross over tracks with other trains full of passengers. I know that...I was talking about dropping things on pedestrians walking on the walkways below. The opportunity to drop an item, and have it hit a vehilce below you is an extremely rare occurance, if you ask me, not that I am an expert.
