  1. HELL YES!! Asimo is so amazing. I can't wait til' I can have an army of them so I can take over the world. And now they can run! I hope the new version makes its way to Innoventions soon.
  2. I'm still confused as to what those pictures are supposed to be showing. :?
  3. ^ That's pretty much correct. Every second counts, whether its a two minute coaster video or a three hour movie. When you hold on a shot too long, someone will notice. I just watched my crappy entree again (hadn't seen it since I submitted it) and the second half is really laggy. I just watched your video retardxdisco, and while it's certainly a good effort, you made a few mistakes. Nearly EVERY transition was a cross fade. Really, you should only use fade transitions (or really any non-hard cut) when it's truly appropriate. Too many transitions make it look amateurish, like a monkey opened up Premiere and wanted to use the entire library. I'm really interested to see the other entries. I'm sure we have quite a few great editors on the board.
  4. Arrested Development is such a great show.
  5. ^ Don't tell anyone, but EBL and I are secretely lovers. They made a movie based on us, it's called "Brokeback Mountain".
  6. Then remind yourself to put a period at the end of your sentences, yo. Anyway, I rode it in '97, and I think I remember it being unique but painful. I wish it would have stuck around long enough to get Premiere-style trains.
  7. Apparently fans are "seasonal items", thus no one carries them. Not even Home Depot. CALIFORNIA IS WARM ALL THE TIME. I NEED A FAN.

  11. I'm actually surprised mine made it. I edited it really quick (like half an hour) and had some cheesy effects and lift hill footage. I'm really looking forward to seeing the other videos. I'm sure there's some awesome stuff in there.
  12. DAMMIT ROBB I'VE BEEN SITTING IN THIS THREAD PRESSING F5 OVER AND OVER AGAIN HOPING YOU'D POST THE VIDEOS!!!! POST THEM DAMMIT OR I WILL HUNT YOU DOWN AND KILL YOU!!!!

  14. So the question needs to be asked: Can your penis work as a stylus on the DS?
  15. Jesus once said, "Sarcasm is the quickest downhill path to the valley of Satan." It was either him or Bazooka Joe.
  16. Wow! Funny you should mention it. Robb and I were just sitting around his fireplace last weekend, sipping on a vintage Merlot, when he pondered, "Do you remember a fine young boy named Coasters 4 Ever? He lit up the board with such memorable posts, but now he seems to have been lost in the sands of time. Tis' a pity. Oh the fleeting nature of life.." We both nodded silently, and then sat in silence for the next four hours.

  18. Weird, I usually get a little floater air over that hill, the drop off the mid-course, and the final drop into the last cork.
  19. Yeah, but what BiCoastal is saying is that the recent Cedar Fair purchased B&M inverteds have been about as intense as sitting on a bench. See Silver Bullet and Talon.
  20. Wisconsin State Fair ownz Michigan State Fair, fool.
  21. Is this like a haiku or something?
  22. The images are kinda old (2001-02 I'd say). DCA doesn't have Tower or Bug's Land, Scream isn't at SFMM, my apartment complex has trees that don't exist now, and my parent's house has a van parked in the front that we sold three years ago. Kinda cool, just wish it was more up to date.
  23. The ignorant ones. I'm a big Beatles fan. I was just listening to Rubber Soul. I'm just shocked people didn't know who he was. One time, I was at Amoeba, which is this awesome gigantic record store in Hollywood. Every imaginable type of music fan is in this place at one time: hipsters, jazz heads, techno dweebs, hip hop kids, etc. etc. Anyway, they were playing the Beatles over the PA system (I think it was Abbey Road), and as I was walking around, nearly everyone was quietly humming or singing along to the songs. It was really surreal, that all these diverse people who had no common musical interests at all still ALL knew those songs word for word. Just goes to show the power of the Beatles' music.
