  1. The forum images and uploads are missing again, for now. Most likey this is a bandwidth issue. Things will be worked out soon. Posting about the problem is not helping the issue, as you are using bandwidth to do so. It's New Years Eve, so go get drunk or something. TPR will still be here when you wake up from your hangover tomorrow morning. If you can see the picture of fat Robb, that means things are working again.
  2. The only format DVDs can be in the mpeg2.
  3. I count dual tracked coasters as 2. I count single track coasters as -1 I count coasters with two vertical loops as 3^2 I count launched coasters as 4/.16778x.pi If a ride is a clone, I take the track length, convert it to metric, weigh it against my current BMI, then times it by the distance from the sun to the center of the galaxy. Basically, if I do the calculation correctly, my coaster count should turn into a black hole somewhere in Idaho and demons pour out and feast on the flesh of the innocent.

  5. Those are from an official video, so take that for what it's worth. Those eyes don't give away 1/10000000th of it, though. You'll be better off being surprised.

    question for wes

Oh okay, it was probably Mark McKenzie's TR. Make sense. It was just weird having someone randomly ask about it, it's like someone you don't know asking you about a girl you had a crush on in middle school or something. If we ever find a copy of it, I'll digitized it and put it online for everyone to see.

    question for wes

Where did you hear about the movie?
  8. Japanese people don't like to get wet, because they will melt.

    question for wes

WTF? How did you hear about that? Well, here's the sordid tale: Basically, "Night Of The Living Furby" was a movie I made with my friend in 11th grade, which would have been 1999. The basic plot was that a guy (me) buys a Furby for a present, and then gets stuck in a hotel room with it. The furby then proceeds to come alive and terrorizes the man, telling him the plot of the Furbies to take over the world. Then the Furby kills him. The final scene has the Furby setting his sights on another victim. We used Johnny Cash's "Ring Of Fire" for a montage sequence and over the end scene. All in all, it was pretty awesome. We shot it in black and white and edited it with a Pentium 300 MHZ on really really bad editing software. At the time, computer editing was very primitive, so our final movie was very herky-jerky with a lot of skips and stops. We entered it in our school's film contest, and despite pretty much getting the largest ovation from the crowd, the judges felt our little opus was too violent (the contest happened right after Columbine) and we didn't place. Even the winners said we should have won. We've always meant to re-edit it, but Chris and I can't find the raw footage anywhere. We think we might have a copy of the final product on a VHS somewhere, but neither of us have spent the time trying to find it.
  10. I just had a terrible flashback to my RRC days.
  11. If anyone needed official confirmation: http://www.amusementbusiness.com/amusementbusiness/industrynews/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1001737947
  12. Leaded gasoline.
  13. ^ I think the original poster works at the Stratosphere, so it's sort of from the horse's mouth. Considering that the ride isn't that big of a deal, there's no reason for them to make a press release about getting rid of it.
  14. No one is at the office today. Proceed with "Office Supply Tossing".
  15. Luggage, which will be used to store clothes, electronics, and sex toys when I go on trips. And a travel cell phone charger. I guess that's related.
  16. The family tradition of sacrificing babies and pissing on nativity scenes.
  17. I work for the web group that does stuff for all the parks and resorts. My area is media (video, audio). The main part of the division is out here in SoCal, and there are people in Florida who's obvious concentration is WDW.
  18. It will probably be fairly busy.
  19. Uhhh...neither of them are open, and Tatsu isn't even 1/3rd of the way constructed. I think it's kind of pointless to debate the supposed merits of two coasters none of us have ever been on. So I'm going to close this for now.
  20. You already posted this in the main forums. No need to repost. Thanks. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=21251
  21. Deja Vu isn't good for anybody.
  22. ^ The castle is exactly the same . Main Street has a few differences but it's very similar. The main difference is the lack of grown vegatation.
  23. ^ They built small to avoid a potential situation like Paris. There will be plenty of expansion over the next few years. Autopia comes next year, and then there will be some really cool stuff after that.
  24. ^ That would make sense, seeing as EE is a Vekoma.
  25. ^ Confirm. It's a replica of DLR's. Bite sized.
