  1. Because if you follow the instructions, gravity makes that impossible.
  2. ^You beat me to it. Those creative schemes work great until matched up against a team with a strong front 7 that can control the line and run with the athletes in space.
  3. ^^College football has definitely moved away from "traditional" football philosophies in the last 10 years. It's good to see Alabama at the top still doing it the old fashioned way.
  4. Sure sounds like it. Good to see them finally make use of that dead space again.
  5. Great, another opportunity for PETA to rally against the park. Hope he's OK and recovers quick!
  6. It was like playing NCAA Football 2013 on easy...Geno Smith's numbers were insane. Will be interesting vs Texas next week.
  7. Lance is usually pretty accurate with his major park rumors, so I wouldn't go discrediting him so quickly. As I have said before, he reports nearly everything that is e-mailed to him. Sometimes the people are really in the know, other times they are just making sh*t up. The fact the "rumors" keep changing so rapidly should tell you he really doesn't know what to believe either.
  8. Yeah, seems like the road team always struggles with those Thursday night games.
  9. HHN Sold out tonight! My advice for anyone going: Get there early and try to take advantage of the special lower lot entrance. If you are there early enough, they open up a side entrance at the front gate and will direct you down to the lower lot before the rest of the park is fully opened. The security checkpoints usually open around 5:15pm, so get in line for that early too! There was 100 minute waits for both mazes on the lower lot at 10:30pm, so you won't regret having to show up early.
  10. It's been about 10 years since capacity mattered at SFMM.
  11. I would just say to play it safe and buy the front of the line pass. Lotte World has a lot of neat attractions that you won't want to miss!
  12. I can say from first hand experience what a stunning view it is. Just the perfect backdrop that really adds to the coaster (the coaster itself is just ever so slighty above average IMO).
  13. Washington sure screwed up the PAC-12's hope at a national title contender. Actually, it was more like Stanford's QB and poor play calling (4th and 4 and you call a fade when your QB has been out of sync all night and you are still doing a good job controlling the LOS??).
  14. Green Day-Let Yourself Go
  15. ^I wouldn't be sad if the father decided to join the son in the scrap yard!
  16. ^I see it as more of a marketing tool than anything else.
  17. Why do I feel like this is the plot line for a new Ace Ventura movie?
  18. Five Guys sets itself apart with the fries. The burger is pretty damn good as well, but the fries are great! In-N-Out is good for fast food, but I hate their fries. The shakes are good though.
  19. Trade school is definitely the way to go for just being a ride mechanic.
  20. We'll see how South Carolina looks in the next month: Georgia, @LSU, and @Florida is a slightly tougher quarter of the schedule than @Vanderbilt, East Carolina, UAB, and Mizzou at home.
  21. Congrats Shane! Next can you partner with the Wild Rivers guys and make something happen in So Cal?
  22. Of course the real refs were not perfect themselves, but it goes without saying that their years of experience is essential to a high quality football game. You can't replace their years of digging deep into the NFL rulebook, years of knowing players tendencies, and years of game experience in knowing what little things to look for.
  23. FYI: Google's CEO said today that they are NOT developing a maps app for iOS 6.
  24. The NFL deserves the blame, not the refs. They're only trying to do what everyone else would do if given the opportunity: make a lot more money in their chosen profession. The NFL is trying to play hardball and break the officials union by pushing for "backup crews to replace poor officials," which in theory is a good idea if both sides can agree on a fair way to judge officials...but the NFL wants complete control over it so they can do as they please with the refs. What I think is funny is how the Saints bounty scandal "hurts the integrity of the game," but the NFL sees no problem with their replacement officials. Even going as far as to release an official statement defending the poor call, while trying to push for holding refs more accountable...
  25. ^I would say on that play, he wasn't able to actually knock the ball down. Just got his hand on it and by freak occurrence Titus Young was in exactly the right spot at the right time. But DB's are taught to physically knock it down (not just tip it) to the ground in order avoid any situation where the receive could still end up with it.
