The refs blew that call (and the offensive PI that went with it), but that DB also blew the fundamental thing that all DB's are taught since pop warner when it comes to hail marys: knock the ball down.

There's been a lot of things that Apple has been "late" to, but they have always made sure to do an excellent job integrating the new features when they do get added to iOS. I'm sure maps will be no different after Apple throws some cash at the problem (remember, Nokia payed $8 billion for navteq).

I wasn't a fan of Skyline, but I'm not much of a Chili person to begin with. It also could have been that I too had it at Kings Island. -

Good to see this park keep expanding! Looks like another solid addition to their lineup. -

All of the European dark rides seem have a unique charm to them, walking that fine line between cheesy knock off and good themeing. They're all very enjoyable. This one looks like it fit right into that category. -
Another week down, more questions about the rest of the season: Are FSU and KSU for real? FSU appears to now be in the drivers seat for a BCS title bid with a weaker schedule ahead, but it still only week 4. Was that LSU/Auburn game telling of LSU, or a fluke? Is Notre Dame finally legit, or Michigan just that over rated? All that matters to me is USC moves up a few spots by default.

The state already determined it was a brake that stuck closed. It's not that simple when you are talking about a ride that dangles passengers 300ft in the air. I am going to assume that they had to lower the car by gradually releasing the brakes (as it was designed) to ensure that there is little chance of a failure due to someone being careless.

^That's just the nice way a girl rejects you. She wants the benefits of a relationship (you being a good friend and doing stuff for her) without having to put out.

^That's great to hear! I really loved the ride on the last China trip.

Has there ever been a perfect app/software/firmware that hasn't needed an update?...I don't think so. Google maps is clearly the better product. But by removing it, Apple gains more control over the phone experience and can now begin working on improving the app and better integration in the iOS ecosystem.

I wish I could take a longer October trip to Orlando, since I always miss this event. Looks like a great house and event! -
^The Happy Valley parks are the closest thing to typical "western" theme parks in China, so that is hardly surprising.

It wouldn't be much of a safety feature if it could be easily over ridden. I'm sure it is held up there by emergency brakes that are completely independent of the ride system, and it was doing exactly what it is designed to do. The only way is to slowly manually release the brakes until it is safely on the ground. Just like any elevator.
