^Georgia is the SEC's version of Notre Dame. ALWAYS highly ranked in the preseason, but ALWAYS find a way to end the year in the middle of the pack.

I really need to get to HKDL for Halloween one of these years. Love that they do stuff so different than the other parks. -

The biggest thing about all these Chinese theme parks, is as Robb and Elissa suggested, they lack depth. The detail is only on the surface (and, admittedly does look great), whereas Disney and Universal create completely immersive experiences. -

He drops down real quick. It's hidden so well by the lightning effects, you can't see it in real time. Robb slowed down his video to show it. -
Notre Dame always seems to look good until they have to play one of their tougher opponents. Then it becomes clear how far behind they have fallen.

Sounds like this might be the beginning of the end for the balloon company. -

^Have fun traveling with your friends riding roller coasters? I know that's not nearly as exciting as counting coasters and posting about roller coasters on the internet though. -

^I don't think it is two doors. It looks to me like the door opening is a projected effect, not two doors actually opening. This seems like a larger scale version of how Shariki disappears at ToT in Tokyo: lights go out, "mirror" quickly moves out of way. -
California Great America (CGA) Discussion Thread
Jew replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
No. Just no. First of all, the park will not get a coaster that large since it is currently the lowest profitable park in CF. Also, the park has strict height restrictions from the nearby San Jose International Airport, so CGA can't build rides much taller than 200'. So, CGA can see a full-sized dive machine or a hyper, but it won't see a giga or a strata ever. The height requirement is a legitimate issue. "Spending money to make money" would easily solve CGA's woes. -

Awesome technology! Really loving how Disney is once again innovating with Universal right on their tail. -
As usual, Oregon wins the awful uniform competition.

Has anyone ever told you that your posts really are completely obnoxious? And most of them don't even make sense. --Robb "Someone needed to say it..." Alvey My post makes sense. People are upset because the ride didn't meet their extremely high expectations. That doesn't mean I'm obnoxious for pointing out that people should be at least a little happy that SFMM is getting a new ride. I didn't realize having a different opinion was so frowned upon. Why am I such a target for you? All I was saying was that people should look on the bright side a little more... The cheese and whine comment was the obnoxious part...totally ruins whatever validity the rest of your post had.

Magic Mountain hasn't purchased an extra train for a ride since Viper. The "extra" trains they have ended up with were simply the result of the fact they can't run the rides they have to their intended capacity. The pumps are so heavy, they will need a crane to be removed. Probably why they haven't been touched yet. As for the ride? It's a credit to me. Hopefully it is exciting, but it certainly doesn't make me go "holy crap! I need to ride this NOW!".
