^ What he said. I went on a field trip on a Thursday when I was in like seventh grade and the park was a ghost town. I lost count on how many times I rode SheiKra that day. While we're on the subject of refurbishments, any word on Phoenix? It's been closed for almost a year now, I think... maybe longer than that. Is it officially SBNO? Are they doing a complete overhaul of the ride mechanism or something?

Didn't they used to have a Villains Unleashed thing every Halloween at Hollywood Studios? Idk if they have that anymore, but this definitely seems to be a "sequel" to that event. Not that I'm complaining, this sounds fantastic and I really want to attend one of the nights just to see the dragon float at night.

Looks like a pretty good opening day! Thanks for the report, Chuck. Gotta say, while I'm really not a fan of the ride it accompanies, the new Grizzly gift shop looks stellar. Such a great compliment to Old Virginia, fits in with the theme so well.

Correction: Scorpion has been open the past two years I've been to the event. Maybe I'm just lucky, but it definitely has operated during HOS in the past and I wouldn't count it out.

First visit to the park was Saturday! No new credits, sadly, but I did do some flats and both dark ride. SkyScreamer was definitely my favorite ride of the day, what a cool experience! Awesome views of the park, and the weird program that sent you up twice was just a laugh fest. Justice League was incredible, such a good dark ride. Monster Mansion is... well, Monster Mansion. I can't describe it. The flyers were pretty good, the train was actually really cool, and that's about it. A solid day overall, only spent about three hours there but I can't wait to return. Pretty good first experience at a Six Flags park, I'll be back at some point next month to get that sweet sweet RMC cred.

Cool to see the ride get some love! I have no clue why but the idea of a boat ride themed to aliens has always been really intriguing to me. It's so weird yet by some miracle it works perfectly.

I'm now officially a Six Flags Platinum Member! First visit to the park should be next Saturday, and I'm stupid excited. Really hyped for this place to be my new home park.
