Yeah, from the sound of things, you shouldn't have much trouble getting onto most of the rides. Have fun man, BGW's a great place
-
Yeah, I'm glad people here are at least making an effort to promote good typing here. I've been to other forums where everything's gone completely to hell, with all the netspeak and such.

I always thought that a remake of this film had potential to be good, because I didn't care much for the original film at all. I know it had a following, but to me it just didn't hold a candle to the original Chainsaw or Dawn of The Dead.

^Really? I was reading in all of the magazines that battery power was a potential issue with the thing.
-
I always liked vertical loops myself. But I think someone should shake things up a bit, and put a nice big vertical loop at the end of the ride somehow instead of the beginning.

I'm not interested in a PSP as of now. I have plenty of games already, and it's just no fun dealing with a system that guzzles battery power in a short period of time, as i experienced with my old Game Gear. All I'd really like is something that would allow me to watch my DVD's on the road, so I think I'd rather spend my money on a portable player with one of those little screens.

God, there's this Furniture shop around here called Raymour and Flanigans, and they've had some god-awful commercials, mainly about guys playing "father time" and Albert Einstein, talking about how the deals they have at this place are the greatest thing in the universe. It's just FURNITURE people. And I so wanna kill the guy in those Verizon commercials who always goes around saying "Can you hear me now?..."

Mr Six the ride at SFNE...
Movieguy replied to Canobie Fan's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I don't know why, but I find Mr Six to be one of the most endearing advertising mascots I've ever seen. He just draws your attention to the screen everytime lol. I saw a SF ad with him recently for the first time in months, and I almost cheered out loud...almost Anyway, that ride looks cool too. Doug "I know, I'm such a dork " Booth -
What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?
Movieguy replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The last coaster I rode was Apollo's Charriot at BGW in August 2004. -
Whats up with Kings Dominion?
Movieguy replied to PKDFreak's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Hm, I wonder why they'd do something like this. If they do remove Hypersonic, chances are it's gonna get sent to either some third world park, or to one of the the throw-away parks here in the states, where it'll rot and rust like crazy, kinda like Batman The Escape at SFAW after it's stints as Shockwave at MM and Gadv -
It pays to arrive early at a theme park
Movieguy replied to BarryH's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Wow, that sounds pretty cool. I haven't been to restaurant with a good view and great atmosphere for quite a while now. -
TPR's Nara Dreamland Video!

Oh my god, that's such a ghetto looking place lol. I first saw that and I thought I was looking at SFDL for a second. But man, that's one good looking woodie they have there, top of the line. I wonder how the hell they could afford something like that when you see all the other cheap rides they have there. -
Best Theme Park Food
Movieguy replied to ChrisZer0's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
hehehe, this is a bit off topic coaster1, but there are good BBQ places up North, if you know where to look that is. If you ever somehow find yourself in Syracuse, try this place called the Dinosaur Barbeque. It's very much a Biker bar, but it attracts all sorts of people, including corporate types in suits, because their BBQ is spectacular, and that's because the guys who run the place have been to BBQ's all over the country for years, and picked up a lot of stuff. There's even a restaurant here in Ithaca called Ralph's Ribs, which has the best ribs I've ever eaten, period. -
Most Travelled Coasters (Still Operating)

It looks like this old Jetstar's been around the block too. http://www.rcdb.com/id445.htm I think it even had a bad accident one time during it's days as "Starchaser" at SFKK. -

When I was in WDW during the 80's, they had another song playing for each scene. This one was called "Now is The Time".

Game-Ride Maker For A Day
Movieguy replied to coasterdude5's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I would make into a coaster that could go into a big underwater tunnel, made completely out of transparent plastic or glass or something similar, so you could see the underwater world around you as you go through it. -
Definitely Holy Grail for me. I've never seen Life of Brian, and Meaning of Life is just...revolting! Holy Grail's a fun movie, but all the overquoting of lines by people around me outside of this site gets a bit tiresome after a while, hehe.

Introducing: The New James Bond
Movieguy replied to Sir Clinksalot's topic in Random, Random, Random
I'm not so sure about this guy either. I was hearing rumors for a while that it was going to be Clive Owen, and that's someone I'd rather see as James Bond, especially after seeing him in Sin City. -
Best Drops....

I remember one of the last times I was at Kennywood, my mom went on the Thunderbolt, and ended up bruising a rib on her side. It wasn't terrible for her, but she wasn't too comfortable for a while. -

Mindbender looks pretty cool. I've never been on a schwarzkopf, so I don't know what it's like to go through a loop without OTSR's on. -
Where is this RCpro.com? I typed it in and I got a remote controlled car site
