  1. It does have a theme, but said theming consists of pictures of people screaming, which is pretty lousy.
  2. Weird. That's a bummer for you. Did you get in a decent number of rides?
  3. They both had Vekomas named Mind Eraser. Knoebels and Knott's Berry Farm?
  4. In my experience, the school groups usually clear out by 2:00, so if you're still there, I would advise you to wait it out.
  5. From my understanding, the only way to get the (yellow-colored) unlimited all-season drink bottles is to buy the Two-Park Premium Dining pass. At least for now. The (red-colored) all-season drink bottles are the only ones available as of now. Still, it's a good deal if you visit the park more than once. The All-Season Dining Pass is also good at other Six Flags parks.
  6. ...you buy songs just because they're played in the station of your favorite coaster.
  7. My last coaster was Bizarro's cousin, Scream at SFMM.
  8. Recently, as in, 5 months ago? If so, then yes. Do you still go to retail stores for a majority of your shopping?
  9. I'm with you though. I thought RIddler looked great before... Now, not so much, and it doesn't really make sense with the character. I mean, it's not a BIG deal, but it's really odd, and another strange color combo decision by an amusement park (shockingly, NOT CF this time! lol) My question is, was Riddler's Revenge in NEED of a paint job, let alone a new color scheme? It's like when SFOG turned Ninja into Blue Hawk and gave it a new paint job, even though it was probably the coaster in the park that needed it the least. I think the reason for Ninja's retheme was to try to shake off the bad reputation it had built up over the years with its old trains, not because it needed a paint job. Riddler did not need a repaint, IMO. Maybe the park will surprise us with a retheme, or maybe they just did it to add to the new rethemed Metropolis. Why the park repainted Riddler is anybody's guess.
  10. I forget which thread it was, but there was a long, drawn-out discussion of how dirty the (devices used to store personal items while on a ride) at a certain park were. Robb set up this word filter to discourage people from talking about it anymore.
  11. I would have gone back and edited my initial comment to say "deleted" and or something along those lines rather than leaving it and making a new post saying "oops wrong tbread". But that's just me. I've also noticed that not a lot of people seem to use the edit feature. Bgtlover can't edit a comment he didn't make.
  12. California Coaster Kings posted an update yesterday, which included, among other things, more pics of the Riddler repaint. The first loop is almost finished, and I have to say it looks fantastic. I almost want to ride it. As most of you probably know, the rest of Metropolis isn't even close to being done. JB's BBQ / Ace o' Clubs is in the middle of renovation. JLBFM has begun alpha testing, but they still have yet to begin construction on the facade. At this rate, we may be looking at a July 4 opening, if we're lucky. Fortunately, all of their other coasters have been running great lately.
  13. No. Are you currently working your dream job?
  14. ...what is TSM? Sorry, I'm a nerd. The League of Legends (videogame) team Team SoloMid was there...they're probably the biggest players in eSports (goes to show how much of a thing that is I guess). LOL, no, I did not see them.
  15. Most likely either SFMM or KBF. If I'm able to, I'd like to drive up to NorCal later this year to check out SFDK and CGA.
  16. No, but I came close a couple of times. Do you like stand-up coasters?
  17. The New Revolution @ SFMM Would have been X2, but the ride ops closed it a few minutes early. Oh, well.
  18. I was there today. It was crowded around lunchtime with school tours, but it started to clear up around 2:00. It was dead the rest of the day. I snapped a picture of the progress on Riddler's repaint. Not gonna lie, it actually looks cool in person. The pictures and 3D renderings don't do it justice. The new bright green track and yellow supports stop just to the left of the MCBR, which still has the old dark green and black supports. *Side note: this is my 420th post.
  19. I've had that happen too, at Great America. It's the worst feeling being trapped face down like that. Do the SUF clones have dual stations? Tatsu does, but on slow days, they only open one side, meaning you have a good chance of being stuck face-down for a few minutes.
  20. I'm an assistant project manager at a plumbing company. Also a mechanical engineering student, hoping to get into ride engineering. (The plumbing job is paying for this.)
