I do the same on Batwing at SFA. For the reason that . . . well lying on your back and rolling out of the station and into the sun . . . isn't the most pleasant thing.

I thought the food service (and selection) at SFA was good all year. I really loaded up on the refillable hot chocolates for Fright Fest and HITP

I'm also assuming that the Justice League 4D Dark Ride would open around Memorial Day weekend? And yes, I do plan on going back up to GAdv this season (and I WILL pony up the $$$ for a Platinum Flash pass)

1. I'm assuming Nitro was the most ridden coaster at Great Adventure for the 2016 season? 2. I'm assuming GAdv's 2017 season opening day is April 1 (same as SFA)?

Yup . . . I know for sure I'll be requesting the day off work on April 1. I really liked the different stunt shows they did this year, the rides, etc.

Well . . . I spent a little time there today (ended up leaving after only 2 hours because I felt funny after having a chicken strips basket). Overall, I was glad to become a season pass holder.

I'll admit . . . . riding coasters in cooler weather (HITP and Fright Fest) . . . is really awesome. Better than getting scorched in 95 degree weather in July/August

Well . . . I'll be spending my New Year's Day at HITP . . . (I'm working on the 2nd so I won't be able to go on closing day). And I read in my season pass holder announcement e-mail that Opening Day for SFA's 2017 season is April Fool's Day (I'm assuming the other SF parks have that as their opening day for 2017 . . . and I think Magic Mountain and Discovery Kingdom are year round ops?)

Yeah . . . For what it's worth, HITP at SFA is doing well attendance wise. But yeah, losing a weekend to Christmas Eve & Christmas Day being on Saturday and Sunday this year is a big kick. And I wouldn't expect Justice League construction moving along quick in this weather . . . (but it must be nice that something is finally going where Batman & Robin: The Chiller/Movietown Water Effect used to be). And what's it like riding Nitro in December?

1. How's attendance been so far for HITP? 2. How's construction progressing Justice League: BFM 4D ride going along?

Well . . . I see the forecast this weekend for the DC area may have ice/rain . . . as much as I've regained my enthusiasm for coasters, not gonna be worth it IMO.

So what was the weather like at Great Adventure? FWIW, when I went to SFA for HITP yesterday . . . in the afternoon it was about 53 degrees (and cloudy). When the moon came out, the temp dropped to around 45 degrees.

I would have liked to have visited Gwynn Oak Park (Baltimore, MD . . . . 1893-1972)

well . . . when I was 7, I was too small to ride the Wild One at Wild World (now SFA) On the flip side . . . . when was the last time (if anytime) you were too large to get on a ride?
