  1. I noticed the VR for Mind Eraser yesterday was from 3 to close . . . . . .
  2. What coaster at KI had the highest number of riders last year?
  3. Both have B&M's (Wildfire at SDC, Silver Bullet as KBF) Six Flags America and King's Island
  4. Yes indeed . . . . but surprised that they didn't bring out the second train for Batwing . . . .
  5. I hope they remove it SFA will gladly take it off your hands. (thought it's my home park, I have no qualms about bashing SFA) . . . . Can't SFA do something ORIGINAL rather than be the bastard step-child and receive hand me downs (I'm looking at you Apocalypse/Iron Wolf and Ragin Cajun) . . .
  6. I saw Red Hot Chili Peppers in Washington, DC on Wednesday night.
  7. Does Poltergeist ever have issues?? I know both of the Mr.Freezes had issues in the beginning, but aren't LIMs pretty reliable in general?? It depends on the coaster. Batman and Robin: The Chiller had the worst. The ride barely opened. With bad operations at Six Flags America, Joker Jinx could face the wrecking ball if these problems continue. Well I did read that (for the time being) JJ will be closed for safety inspection. But yeah, if something like this happens again, it could be . . . hasta la vista Joker's Jinx. And yeah, operations can be bad (waits for food, rides taking too long to dispatch)
  8. Well outside Six Flags America, there's the usual fast food places . . . . and some IHOP's as well
  9. I remember back in 2014 JJ also got stuck . . . . but overall, why has JJ fared better than it's ill fated (but awesome in theory) former LIM comrade in coaster Batman & Robin: The Chiller? And if they do remove JJ, what would go in it's place? A boomerang coaster or something along the lines of V2?
  10. An hour for food . . . . wow, that's surprising to me. But anyhow, the longest line I was in was when I went to Great Adventure last June and waited about an hour for Superman: Ultimate Flight (the weather was about 90 degrees and only one train was running)
  11. you have spirited debates about Intamin vs. Vekoma vs. B&M . . . .
  12. And yesterday at Six Flags America, I saw someone's wallet and keys fly out of their jacket pockets on Superman: Ride of Steel, and heard someone lost their glasses on Mind Eraser. Me personally, I have my wallet attached to a chain on my belt loop and my keys in my pocket deep (though I do take my stuff out of my pockets for Batwing and Mind Eraser). And someone tossing their hat off of KK . . . ?
  13. I was kind of surprised that Shipwreck Falls was open today (as the high was only 60 degrees). But yeah, WW:LOT is looking good so far
  14. How bad (at least by what you say) is the clientele/ops/lack of fun at Great America?
  15. Glad opening day was fun for those that went (I'm assuming too cold/windy for Zumanjaro) And how was JL: BFM construction progressing?
  16. But wouldn't it technically be called . . . Elgae Nacirema (intentional bad pun)
  17. Cool/overcast much of the day (sun did break through between 2 and 3 pm) . . . Made the Wild One 7 times Hmm, the space where the parts for WW:LOT are stored is big enough for a Boomerang coaster
  18. Well . . . I'm looking forward to tomorrow. I'll see how many times I ride the Wild One and I'll give the VR on Mind Eraser a try.
  19. Generally . . . what's attendance like at MM during the winter months?
  20. When was the last time GAdv had shows in the Showcase Theater? (you'd think during the summer, they'd have shows there so people can dip inside and get out of the heat)
  21. I wonder if it'll have certain "VR only" hours like Superman: Ride of Steel did last season . . . I'll give it a shot
  22. My guess is . . . it'll be ready by Memorial Day weekend. And it'll be interesting to see what the stunt show/entertainment will be this season . . . .
  23. Two ideas I've thought of for improving rides at SFA . . . 1. Converting Apocalypse into a floorless coaster 2. Giving Roar the RMC treatment Which one do you think would be the better idea and which is the more feasible (in terms of $$ and time spent)?
  24. I like the picture of the swans at Dorney . . . .
