  1. I never thought of Louisville or the area around the airport as a bad area whatsoever. If you look at it, most all parks that have a gated admission have a fence with barbed/razor wire, at least in areas that aren't able to be watched by staff. Even in those cases, they have some kind of climbing deterrent.
  2. ^ I'm aware. I was just going along with you saying it's too bad you'll never get to see them in concert. I know a couple of people who saw them with Paul Rogers and said it was really good, but I refuse to believe them, because in my mind, Freddie Mercury *WAS* Queen. There's just no substitute for him.
  3. Since I work for a non-profit, I have a 403b. Currently, I'm playing it safe with a portfolio that is only around 20% high-risk/high-growth. I think I'm going to bump that up to around 60% for a while. Most of them are tech stocks, so I can make a decent amount of change, and then skip out on them. I also own stock in Abercrombie and Fitch. I had stock options when I was in-store eye candy
  4. White Oxford shirt with the sleeves rolled up, American Eagle whisker-faded jeans, white Abercrombie and Fitch moose boxers, brown leather Dr. Marten shoes. All that, and I smell good, too.
  5. Flashback at SFMM, beat the crap out of me but I giggled every second, then got back in line. Iron Wolf at SFGrAM. Same thing, everyone says how rough it is, but it also makes me laugh. GASM/Viper/the former Shockwave - the Six Flags mega-looper bunch. They're so bad they make me laugh, too. I can't get enough of those rides (save for Shockwave, of course..) Viper while it was still standing at SFGradv - it was a giggle fest, too. Of course Drachen Fire. I thought it was sweet, and spent a good chunk of my day riding it with some friends from high school when we went to BGW on a spring trip.
  6. Yeah, I should clear that up, too. I love IB and everything about it, but something about this just doesn't look "right". Heck, I even liked the Hoosier Hurricane for what it is, but I'm much more a fan of Cornball Express.
  7. I have no doubt this is going to be better than Garfield's Nightmare. Walking through my apartment when the lights are off to find the bathroom in the middle of the night is better than that cartoony mess.
  8. ^ Yeah, just like they did with the Hoosier Hurricane...
  9. Queen without Freddie Mercury is like a car without tires. It just doesn't work.
  10. ^^ Has it really been that long since I've been out there? Man, it sure doesn't seem like it. Anyway, keep up the good work. I'm so addicted to working out now it's not even funny. It's almost like caffeine to me, if I don't have it, I get grumpy.
  11. ^^ Then again, how can we be so sure the more modern ones won't age as badly as the older ones? After all, they are still newer. For instance, Iron Wolf (which I still love, btw) is 6 years older than Mantis, and I'm not even sure how many years older (8, I think?) than Riddler.
  12. Oh man, did you go to Ghengis Kahn? (that IS what it's called, right??) I miss that place.
  13. OK, I'll give it a go. I shoot with a Canon EOS 10D, Sigma EX DG 28-70MM f/2.8, Quantaray 70-300MM f/4.5, Canon 50MM f/1.8 and now a Sigma EX DG IF HSM 17-35MM f/2.8 lenses. Just messin' around. Friend's baby Jacob last October My Baxter Outside of my old place of employment Kennywood Thunderbolt Snoopy's Summer Vacation (shot with Canon 50mm Prime and Diffuser filter) Obviously Raptor (shot with Sigma 28-70mm)
  14. Butch Walker. Hands down. Other than him (as an artist and a producer), I can't really nail down any one particular band or style of music at all. I have 30 gb of crap on my Zune. I'll just name a few: Talib Kweli, Aesop Rock, Gym Class Heroes, P.O.S, Kanye West, Between the Buried and Me, As I Lay Dying, Lamb of God, Walls of Jericho, Wu-Tang and ODB, With Honor, Bane, Suicidal Tendencies, The Misfits, AFI, Fall Out Boy, Timbaland, The Fall of Troy, Eagles of Death Metal, the Locust, Notorious B.I.G, Ludacris, Norma Jean, Blackalicious, Styx, Still Remains, Senses Fail, Relient K, Public Enemy, O.A.R., Dave Matthews Band, NIN, NOFX, Mr. Bungle, N.W.A., 2Pac -- I'm just going to stop, because you get the idea.
  15. It's odd how Chang and Mantis are so totally different, yet so totally almost the same (mirrored) ride. Now, as far as my favorite? Iron Wolf - Kind of in the middle of B&M and Intamin. Don't ask me why, but I love that ride. I also have this thing for Flashback, too - it makes me giggle. -Josh
  16. Nobody in the hospital has "good" hours. Everybody's gotta work a holiday or a couple of midnights/12's here and there. Me, personally, I got Thanksgiving off this year - But that was the last day I asked for. I'm in at 7PM on Christmas eve, and don't leave until 7AM on Christmas day. Same goes for the new year.... Oh well, though. Also, most ER physicians are not actually hospital employees, but private practitioners that do ER duty on a rotational schedule. -Josh
  17. ^^^ Yeah - I agree with these guys. If it is true (which, from the way the story is put together, I don't really believe it is), you were being a complete douche. If I was there and saw you pulling that crap, I'd have put you in your place right quick.
  18. One time, I had an allergic reaction to a guinea pig. True story. I think they should ban guinea pigs in all public areas because of it.
  19. Here's a couple more This is what happens when you feel "Artsy" Here's us again at a friend's birthday party Here's Jen and me at the Winking Lizard.
  20. Oh man, Oh man... I really want to go now. -Josh
  21. Major bump - see title under my avatar. That explains it all. -josh
  22. Phew, at least then I know I'm safe.... I couldn't give you an exact number if you had a gun to my head, but at least I know I'm not going to hell. -Josh
  23. Big Dipper (SBNO) at the park formerly known as Geauga Lake, formerly known as SF Worlds of Adventure, formerly known as SF Ohio, formerly known herein as Geauga Lake. Rough, slow, boring. Blech. -Josh
