  1. The crane has been there since Media Day. It's in case the train valleys.
  2. I wasn't sure where else to put this, but apparently there will be NO new attraction announcements at D23 this year. IMO, Disney is totally dropping the ball here especially with everything that Universal has done in just the past year. http://micechat.com/34021-2013-d23-expo/
  3. I'm still playing a couple times a day, just because I came into the late so late and still have so much stuff to open. I'm just now getting the Buddhist Temple. I'm doing the Squidport stuff but the other buildings in the game are taking priority right now.
  4. This. I've seen Bonnie walking around the park more than I've ever seen Raffi at Knott's or I ever saw Matt or George at Disneyland. The only times I've ever met any of the DL presidents have been at some kind of "event". Also, Walt wasn't the President of Disneyland, he was the face of the company in every way. Very different scenario.
  5. Rodents of Unusual Size ... I don't think they exist. Pissed Off Owl is hilarious. Looks like a nice little park. Hope to get out to USJ since I never got to ride Jaws at USO. One of those rides we just didn't get around to during our visits and I'm sad we didn't.
  6. Wow, who knew it was possible to build a coaster on a hill without just ripping out everything in it's path? This looks incredible!!! Hope to get there some day soon.
  7. There wouldn't be a need for the Season Pass center. The survey said that when you buy your pass online you'd print it out, take it to the gate and the gate attendant would give you the plastic card pass and you scan your finger. That's it.
  8. ^ That's gotta be brand new, hence the survey. It even says "new membership plan". Nice find!!! Interesting in that for our current Gold Pass the payment would have been around $30 per month for the 5 passes we have but with this new membership it would be $50 per month. The Membership plan seems to be set at the current Season Pass price and not the "Buy 4 or more for $64.99" they were offering at the beginning of the year. It also looks that while not charging "interest" the Membership is about $8 more per year per pass than just paying cash. Will be interesting to see if the Membership cost matches the Season Pass deal in December (if they have it).
  9. I'm actually not a huge chocolate person but a couple of my favorites: Reese's PB Cups, See's (only the kinds with nuts), 100 Grand, Peanut Butter Snickers Non Chocolate: Red Vines, Sour Patch Kids, Sour Straws, hell, anything sour and gummy.
  10. Not the best picture considering I was running ... but from the SF Marathon.
  11. Edge of the In Between - Spock's Beard Just found out that Sound of Contact, Spock's Beard, Jolly, Circa and Turn on Red are playing at a tiny club in Hollywood the day before my birthday. Almost makes up for not making it to Progpower USA. Almost ...
  12. More Haunt goodness. Endgames is coming back. Hoping this one is a bit better than last year, has so much potential.
  13. SFMM: Flashback Psyclone Mountain Express Shockwave (also rode at Astroworld) Astroworld: Greezed Lightning Mayan Mindbender Serpent Ultra Twister Viper XLR-8 Other random coasters: Windjammer (Knott's) Wacky Soap Box Racers (Knott's) Whizzer (CGA) Hurricane (SCBB) Jet Star (SCBB) Speed: The Ride (Sahara Las Vegas)
  14. Considering the Season Pass Processing line was still WELL over 30 minutes yesterday I think it's something that's totally necessary. Either that or a total overhaul of the Season Pass processing center at SFMM. Not sure how it is at other parks.
  15. Anybody else get a survey today? It was all about using Biometric sensors instead of the current season pass line-up. I think it's a GREAT idea.
  16. Did anybody get asked for their age last time you logged in? Random and weird. I've never spent any $$ in the game and not planning on it. Sad that I can't get Lard Land or a few other things without it.
  17. Full Throttle last Friday. Didn't ride anything but Orient Express while at SFMM yesterday. It was a SFHH day.
  18. Went to Hurricane Harbor today but went over to SFMM about noon to get some more off-ride pics since I didn't get many on Friday. They were dispatching trains about every minute or so. Considering the ride is about a minute this is pretty impressive. The biggest shock was that they have early entry for Hurricane Harbor. Totally shocked and thrilled. This will serve us well this summer.
  19. Yes and no. It's a Premier ride so I always knew it was going to be a solid coaster. It's still gimmicky and too short, but it's a fun ride.
  20. ^ Nothing going on inside the tunnel on our rides, most likely due to the video stuff (mist, etc,) I'm sure. But you could see that there is stuff in there. Will be interesting to see it when it's all going.
  21. Yes, our picture ... keep sharing it!!!! I thought the ride was a LOT of fun. Is it going to be anybody's "Number One Coaster" ... probably not (unless you've only been to SFMM). Probably not even Top 10 or 20. But it's a REALLY fun ride. I didn't find it to be very intense at all. The launch is a little less intense than Mr. Freeze probably. It's probably on-par with Poltergeist, Jokers, Jinx, etc. The ride is also VERY quiet. Eerily quiet actually. The hang-time in the loop ... OMFG. Amazing. My personal favorite element, surprisingly enough, is probably the twist into the tunnel and the backwards launch if you are in the last car. The twist is awesome in there. And lastly, totally surprising, the brakes are awesome. Seriously. You get a little pop of air over the top and then you hit those brakes and it's crazy. We were all totally shocked about that. Overall a fun ride, certainly one of the best at the park. But bring your sunscreen. No shade in the station still.
