If you're asking how many we rode yesterday, then 5 (roller coasters) However, we've been on everything at SFGAm except V2 and Deja Vu. -

I think this is only the second time Deja Vu hasn't been open when we went... I bet SFGAm regrets ever getting it. -

Thanks for all the comments, everyone! I like making photo TR's now. On Viper, the switchoff track is covered. The blocks are inbetween the two buildings. However, I also remember being stopped underneath a roof. So I really don't know what happened yesterday. -

Hello everyone! I must say that todays trip to SFGAm was unlucky. I'll explain more as pictures come by. Make sure you look at all SEVEN posts of pictures... otherwise we'll be sad. I'm also proud to announce that I conquered my fear of bigger roller coasters and now have 3 B&M's under my belt! So.... *drumroll, please!* HERE IT IS! Thanks for reading through the whole trip report! We hope you enjoyed it. By the way - we didn't go on American eagle because we decided it wasn't that fun. (We've been on it before) Anyways... thanks again! Check us out! We're CrAzY teenage ACErs! Give us some candy! I did it! I did it! 3 B&M's under my belt - beat that! WHAT?!?? Uh huh! How Andrew ranked his first B&M's: 1. Superman: Ultimate Flight 2. Raging Bull 3. Batman The ride Woah! Is that Dan in the fourth seat? Nah... just a clone. Now these people were COOL! I mean C-O-O-L! They even smiled for us! This picture gives you a pretty good idea of Superman: Ultimate Flight's layout. By far the BEST picture Andrew has ever taken... the lighting was perfect. Ahhh! Ooh! So we went back to Superman! And boy are we glad we came back later. The sun finally came out at about 3:00 and we snapped some really great photos... Then it was time for RAGING BULL! Andrew finally rode it. He hated the first drop because it seemed like it just kept coming, but he LOVED the rest of the ride. "Yeah... it's up there on my favorites," said Andrew. We did it... and we didn't like it. The hill, loops, and tunnel? Smooth! The corkscrews... well. Ow. Demon... THROUGH THE BUSHES! Time for... PAIN! *arg* I mean... Demon. See those blue plates with lights? Those cover the bottom of the spinning disk. Andrew is sad. Here's a picture of Revolution. It looks like they had to do some major repairs underneath the platform. Here's Andrew imitating what the G's made him look like on Batman. Another picture of the first loop on Batman. What? No, that's not my finger in the corner. The tree just... exploded. Batman... THROUGH THE BATHROOM! Andrew - "WHOOOOO! I DID IT!" Kathryn - "INTO THE BATCAVE!" Can you guess what this is? The camera went off in Paul's pocket while riding Batman. This is Andrew's fake smile. On the outside he's all, "I'm SO excited!" On the inside, he's all, "Oh... GOD!" Onto Batman The Ride. Andrew was psyched to find Bolliger & Mabillard on a sign! WRONG! About 20 feet from the station, the dumb train stops at the bottom of the lift hill. The same thing happened at BGA with Montu, so we decided to wait about 10 minutes. However, they didn't fix it in time, so we decided to leave and come back later. Everything's going well, right? So we headed over to Superman: Ultimate Flight - Andrew decided to conquer his fears of bigger roller coasters! We headed over to Revolution only to find that Andrew's most favorite flat ride was... CLOSED! Some more pictures of what's going on with it later... KATHRYN! STOP TRYING TO EAT DEJA VU! OMG! The park got a little bit more crowded as the day went on. However, the wait time for rides really didn't go beyond 30 minutes. To warm up, we got our coffee fix... For most of the day, the train was stuck on the second spike of the ride. Ragin Cajun was also closed. Deja Vu - CLOSED! Andrew snapped a great photo... yeah - that lady just walked by right when he took the picture. A blurry picture of the tunnel in Demon. Andrew liked going through it very much! So, we decided to go see a Marvin the Martian movie at the Pictorium and grab a bite to eat! (You can see how wet we got!) So here's how our ride on Viper went. It was raining pretty hard when we got on. The ride was CRAZY fast! Anyways, when we got to the end, the other train had to unload because the track got too wet. So there we are - stuck on a roller coaster train in th Viper is a mirror of the Coney Island Cyclone. Ooh! Aah! A picture of the station's theming for those who have never been on Viper. You can get a good shot of Raging Bull from the line of Viper. But first... Viper - THROUGH THE TREES! Next on to Andrew's favorite ride in the park (well... it used to be his favorite) find out why... We LOVE Schwarzkopf coasters! Whizzer was very nice and smooth this time. This is Kathryn imitating how it was when you came out of the helix on Whizzer. I don't know if you can see this, but on the whiteboard in the control room, it said "It's Whizzer Time!" ...Kathryn and Andrew found that to be hilarious! (Don't ask why) Kathryn was all "WATER FEATURE!" We got 2 rides on Whizzer - one before it started raining, and one after. It was a LOT of fun the second time because the track was so greased up from the rain. Another lift hill photo. In case you didn't know, the trains have individual motors that carry themselves up the lift. No chains here! This is the part where you go up in a circle... yeah. First credit of the day: Whizzer! Schwarzkopf goodness. "Now we can go to lots of theme parks for FREE!" It was pretty empty when we got there. So we headed over to get our season passes processed. And in the blink of an eye... ROLLA COASTUHS! OMG! Six Flags is that'a way! LOL! A&W is hiring Wisconsin Cheese Curds... I guess I could never work there. To hold us through the 50-minute drive, we watched SpongeBob. As you can see, it was raining pretty badly. Don't you just LOVE those weather people? Here's a beautiful picture before we left the homestead (lol). Left to right: Andrew (ME!), Paul (My Dad), Kathryn (My sister) Everyone got TPR goodie bags (but TPR had NOTHING to do with it... I just put the logo on the nametags!) Kathryn was all, "RAWR! I'M RAGING BULL!" -
Oy vey! ROFL My sister just drew Fabio getting hit in the head by a goose on Apollo's Chariot... sorry Anyways, no rush. Have fun... uhhh whatever you're doing

I don't even bother trying to get a POV, so I simply put my camera away when I ride a roller coaster. This is because I saw some person get clammered (<- clammered... lol) at BGA and kicked off the ride for having a camera... Getting a POV isn't much of an interest for me. I'm mostly just interested in getting pictures and off-ride videos of rides.

Do me a favor and go to Hershey! My first ever roller coaster was there - The Comet You'll love it there.

I always use windows movie maker because... 1. It's free 2. It's easy to use 3. You can add a variety of effects to your video 4. There are many different types of final video files you can create.

What Rides Scares the Crud Out Of You?
Golfie replied to EuroTre's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Oh... and it also takes a lot to get me on a coaster over 250 feet. -
My sister would say Iron Wolf at SFGAm - there's a LOT of head banging. I'd say Python at BGA... you can even see the pain in the people's faces as they go through the corkscrews.

Best and Lamest Coaster "Ending"
Golfie replied to Teddymonster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Viper at SFGAm has a great ending. It's just effective enough to make you go flying forwards, but the ride ends at just the right moment - when you've had a good amount of airtime and headchoppers. Python's ending at BGA sucks... this is because the ride isn't long enough by far. You go up, down, around, upside-down twice, turn, and the ride is over. -

I'm DEATHLY afraid of Giant Drops... I never go near them. And don't try to convince me to go on one- because I won't. -
How many times the same ride in a day ?
Golfie replied to mingsai's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'm going to SFGAm tomorrow (June 18th) because I've heard that the park is DEAD on father's day... I'll let'cha know if I even get close to that many rides... -

Something in my gut just tells me that you're wrong... don't ask me why - because I don't know. -
I went in April and it was a moderately packed day. If you've never been to the park before, I'd suggest going on the train at Nairobi to see everything in the park. Also, make sure that when you're in a certain section, tackle all of the rides in that section. BGA is so big that we didn't get a chance to ride Kumba because we weren't doing this. Don't take too much time taking pictures of rides or you'll run out of time. umm... Usually the wait times for rides in BGA (BGT) are shorter than what they say. For Python, they said a 45-minute wait when it only took about 30 minutes. Last, print out a park map ahead of time and sketch out a path that you'll take. This saves a lot of time since the park has so many paths going in different ways. I hope you have fun! BGA is a great park.

Yeah... it's pretty bad. Especially if you're not prepared for it. However, if you hold onto the bar infront of you and straigten out your arms before you hit the brake run, it's not as painful.
